a pretty unique rose-oud, I personally think: @Seejungfrau expressed it well with the word "decay," the rose evolves on my skin from leaf to bud to bloom until it eventually wilts and fades - definitely an interesting, albeit somewhat archaic, take on the subject.
The scent has something archaic - melancholic.
