An inspiring fragrance, with almost distinguished undertones in a chic casual way. For some reason it reminds me of the endless corridors, perfectly waxed parquets and beautiful wooden stairs of Opera Garnier's wings.
This is not a piercing leather but rather rounded in a certain sweetness, which can be construed as a bit synthetic but wears really well. The notes are gently handled, nothing pokes out and the wood blends through elegantly. Soft amber.
I find that there's a poetic je-ne-sais-quoi that translates in a lot of Zielinsky & Rozen realeases. It's very Parisian in a way, almost atmospheric, effortless always. Timeless scents from a dreamer's dream house.
If only I had discovered the brand earlier, I would have loved to have some of the handwritten labels --what a nice touch and neat idea that was! Good, practical and generous enough sprayer on the cute 10ml bottles. I like that they're original all the while saving space.
