A Competent Rose Patchouli
Fairly linear soapy patchouli with a bit of a rosey edge. Something about the formulation (maybe the musk in combination with the earthy notes?) causes my nose to hallucinate oud, even though there is no oud listed in the notes.
Performance is very good, and it's still going strong on hour 6. It projects well, but in a unobtrusive way that doesn't crush everyone in the room under its olfactory weight like a typical "beast mode."
Its a nice fragrance, though not particularly exciting or unique. The price is pretty good for the quality of the fragrance.
