Scent
Fresh and clean
This scent feels like splashing the water of a cool mountain spring on your face, watching the sunrise on a cool summer morning. It is distinctly aquatic but in the way of freshwater rivers rather than the marine quality of the sea. The combination of gardenia, apple and magnolia impart the perfume with a clean, feminine sweetness softly entwined with the fresh punch of cucumber.

I first bought this perfume in a drugstore because it was very affordable. In the following years, I have completely fallen in love with the scent. It is very disappointing that it has been discontinued, so I have been using my bottle sparingly. It is certainly more of a summer perfume rather than spring, and the cool aquatic scent brings a much-needed burst of freshness to humid summer days.

Scent
Clean, sweet, fresh
This scent feels like standing near a cascading waterfall deep in the mountains or feeling the season's first rains on your skin. It's a refreshing drink of cool spring water, sweet and infused with the lightest hint of jasmine.

The scent is immediately sweet and fresh rather than floral. It has a simplicity that endears it to everyday wear. The pear scent is particularly pronounced at first, lending the perfume a distinct crisp sweetness which is far from cloying. While I cannot detect the blood orange quite as strongly, it adds to the general clean and fresh scent. I prefer this perfume over the original eternity for women, as it does not have any of the powdery, musky notes.
