Youth in a Bottle
I wouldn't know how to objectively evaluate this fragrance today.
For my subjective opinion on this scent is clouded by memories and experiences from my youth, a completely carefree time without obligations and problems.

It was my very first perfume, which I bought as a teenager with my pocket money in some supermarket. I liked it back then, and I still do today.
Nevertheless, I would never buy it again.

My present self has become more demanding, with higher expectations for the fragrance. For complexity and longevity. For the scent journey as such.

And yet, none of my current fragrances come close to it.

Because let's face it:
If a fragrance can transport us instantly to another time with just a sniff and give us a feeling of no problems and worries, then it remains an unparalleled experience for us personally.

The Elegant Rose..
After I sprayed it on my wrist for the first time, it felt familiar and comforting right away. I couldn't get my nose to stop trying to categorize the scent.

It wouldn't leave me alone, so
I took a moment to reflect and then had to take a look in my closet to get to the bottom of it.
That's when it hit me like a ton of bricks where I knew this elegant rose from; MFK - Oud Satin Mood.
Even though it appears completely different in its complexity and presence, and for that reason is also a standalone fragrance.

I can't be the only one who feels this way, can I?

The scent is undoubtedly not the same and, in my opinion, not a copy either.
In terms of longevity and sillage, it can't compete anyway.
And it doesn't have to.
Still, it conveys to me the same warmth and the same feeling of elegance, thanks to the rose.
