Good Scent
A great scent that I bought back in America, where we also have a problem: Brooks Brothers is only available in America.

I find the scent good; it somehow reminds me of a young English gentleman. It has the aroma of fine shaving soap and somehow feels luxurious (I can't quite describe why, but I take it as it is).

I would recommend everyone, if they ever have the opportunity to test Brooks Brothers fragrances, to do so, as they are quite rare and very individual in Germany.
Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the price since I bought it in America, where I paid $70 for 100ml three years ago.

Private Blend line is class!
This scent is simply class, just like every one I’ve sniffed from the Private Blend line!!!

It does smell unpleasantly sweet for the first minute after application, but that quickly settles down, and you can perceive a warm sandalwood note that accompanies you from start to finish. Gradually, the different woods, vetiver, cardamom, tonka beans, and vanilla come into play, slowly blending together to create one of the best scents I have ever smelled after about 5-6 hours. Unfortunately, after 6 hours, this incredibly good blend starts to fade, and the different fragrances disappear again. After now 9 hours of wearing it, I can only still detect a pleasant mix of sandalwood, amber, and vanilla, which can easily compete with any mass fragrance.
In summary, I can only say: Will someone give me €170 for this scent? Pleeease :-).
Unfortunately, the availability of this perfume (it’s nowhere to be found online and only in a few select perfumeries) and the high price (€170 for 50ml, €400 for 200ml) are a problem, but these two issues are ultimately common to all Private Blend fragrances.

Good Scent
A good scent that, while certainly not on par with my two favorite perfume manufacturers (Tom Ford (Private Blend!!) Creed), still ranks among the best that the mass market has to offer.
I find it has a nice masculine spicy and tobacco-like scent (is that a word?).
It doesn’t develop as wonderfully while wearing as some high-quality Eau de Parfums, but it smells really good right from the start.
I would recommend this scent especially to younger people, around my age (18-20) and students.
Furthermore, since the scent is not overpowering but still lasts long on the skin, you can't go wrong with applying it, and it’s not a fragrance that divides people into two camps but rather a simple good scent that almost everyone likes and doesn't offend anyone.
The price is also reasonable if you order it like I did on eBay (100ml + 200ml shower gel = €50).

Alone to Häft/ In combination very good
I just tried the fragrance at Oberpollinger in Munich.

I must say that it strongly smells of patchouli, which is also in line with the creator's intention, as he wants us to mix the various Etro fragrance notes and thus develop our own scent, which I personally think is a very good idea, if it weren't for the high price of multiple perfumes.

As for the scent itself, I have to say that it is a bit too intense for my taste, and it already smelled strongly over-dosed on the first sniff of these cloths and on the skin, despite the smallest amount, as well. Otherwise, the patchouli note comes out well, and the smell of over-dosing faded after mixing the fragrance with the sandalwood and amber scent from Etro.

I find the price for a bottle to be okay; it is indeed a bit less expensive than the standard brands (Gucci, Prada, Hermes, etc.), but it is also an Eau de Parfum. However, it can become quite expensive to acquire multiple bottles to create your own scent.

Very Good Scent
I discovered the scent by chance in GQ as an advertisement with a sample. When I smelled it, I immediately knew I had to have it.
Since then, I have never regretted buying it; it definitely belongs to the best fragrances I have ever smelled.
It is a scent that every man should have at home, or even better, the limited Eau de Parfum version.
The scent itself is earthy, with warm woods, spices, and citrus fruits.
Everything is perfectly balanced.
