Could you recommended a fresh, sexy floral?

...Hi there folks! I'm looking for a floral that could stand the humid heat of summer but is also quite sexy. Niche preferred however, I'm completely open to other suggestions. Thanks! :D

..."Joy" Jean Patou I hate the animalic edge in this but LOVE the jasmine + rose in it. I'm sucker for this combination and it's not easily found everywhere predominantly or in good quality.

Hunting the illusive one - hard-to-find perfumes

...My beloved "Rose Absolue" by Yves Rocher is one of them. Very very difficult to find. If I could, I'd buy a fb in a heartbeat. Why oh WHY do they always discontinue great perfumes that sell well? RA sold like hotcakes on their site while it was in production. I remember them being out of stock several times when I tried to purchase it! :shock:

Marketing Mistakes - arbitrary target group?

...I don't know what makes a scent feminine or masculine to my nose but I swear I can smell a perfume blind (don't know the brand/name etc.) and I am 95% right in appointing a gender specific quality to what I am smelling. So perhaps there's something to the feminine vs masculine distinctions in scents. For example, gas stations, gyms, mechanic shops, carpentry shops distinctly smell masculine to me. Whereas places like the kitchen, a female's vanity, most shampoos, bakeries, detergents smells, restaurants smell feminine to me. I'm not bothered by it if something smells masculine to some or not. The way I see it is that the world is made up of both the feminine and the masculine elements wrapped up together. Think Yin/Yang concept. We all have both elements wrapped up in ourselves. It would be easy to see, coming from that stand point, why gender neutrality would be valid. Some peeps see that and some peeps don't. Neither group is blind or does it have perception problems. Both ideas are very refreshing.

...Bond No. 9 "Eau de Noho" Though it is not listed on this site, the top notes is a huge blast of Linden. I grew up drinking Linden blossom tea and been drinking it all my adult life. So I'd say this is a pretty good representation of it. Mind you, it does have some violet and other floral notes to support it as well.

...I jumped ship as well. What with the mess involving deletion of any topics might imply "gay" or "lesbian" and receiving a private email where someone typed "parfumo.com" which came out as "stop spam", I decided it was time to move on. Fragrantica has not been fair to *all* of its members nor supported free speech. It's a GREAT web site for perfume lovers. But only if perfumes are all you care about in life and you're okay with turning a blind eye to blatant discrimination. Ps: I was the poster last week who posted a 2nd topic after a female created a topic where she asked what women like to smell on women - which got deleted for NO reason. I posted the follow-up topic to show solidarity to the lesbian/gay community (I'm straight!) and I simply asked what women liked to smell on other women. But that totally respectful topic got deleted too. So not worth the drama! :roll:
