... most expensive bottle would be my 100ml "III-IV Tango | Masque" followed by "Elysium Parfum Cologne (Eau de Parfum) | Roja Parfums" . Price per ml, I guess that would be "Back to Black Aphrodisiac (Perfume) | Kilian" and "Black Phantom Memento Mori | Kilian" I use them as any of my other fragrances. The only ones I am more carefull with are my official Xerjoff miniatures and my MFK travel atomizers

... for me the "best" budget option would be "L'Homme Rochas | Rochas" . Does this classify as blue? I also agree on "Kenzo Homme (2022) (Eau de Parfum) | Kenzo" would be a good interesting option...it is more a marine fragrance and it might not be considered budget by some.

... AnyaK "Luna Rossa Black | Prada" I am waiting for any discount really. I think it works amazing on me and my husband as well so we could share. I found it very wearable and suitable for any time of the day. That one is the number 1 designer on my list. Such a sexy scent. Might actually be (after "Terre d'Hermès (Parfum) | Hermès") the best designer? IMHO As for what I am currently saving up for: "XJ 1861 Naxos | XerJoff" : this is a classic. I am, after having had decants , of the opinion that it is a must have for any collector/fragrance lover "Enigma / Creation-E (Parfum) | Roja Parfums" : this is in my opinion a sophisticated parfume and yet sooo addictive. Worth its price...but having said that, Out of my reach at the moment.

... I tend to agree with @DogiCoco ... using an official sample, "Erba Pura | XerJoff" is really strong and longlasting, noseblindness might be something to consider. I assume you did not buy it from a retailer? Are you sure it was not tampered with?

... yes "Voyage (Eau de Toilette) | Nautica" is OK, but in my opinion, it is worth spending just a tad more. As suggested by @Mitchcraft , I can recommend as well the D&G Light Blue line, especially "Light Blue pour Homme Eau Intense | Dolce & Gabbana" and "Light Blue pour Homme Italian Love | Dolce & Gabbana" . "Versace Man Eau Fraîche (Eau de Toilette) | Versace" is always a good choice within the fresh aquatic affordable realm. Can't go wrong with any of those.

... well yes, any variation on the term "panty dropper"...ridiculous also: "beastmode" (what does that even mean) And: "must-have"... really? not to forget: "compliment magnet"... I am much more inclined to check out a perfume based on its description, on the notes...what it smells like basically, than on somebody telling me it is a loindrenching scent.

... Hello, As @Hammudas points out, it would be interesting to find out what his price range would be. Did he like to splurge on luxury items? Also, you can not exclude years prior to 1988. As a matter fact, it could well be that he used "Knize Ten (Toilet Water) | Knize" which has been around since the 1920's. Now looking at more likely candidates: "Old Spice Classic / Old Spice (Cologne) (1990) | Procter & Gamble" or "Boss Number One / Boss (Eau de Toilette) | Hugo Boss" or "Obsession for Men (Eau de Toilette) | Calvin Klein" ...I would bet on those. They were popular at the time, especially the CK has a cinnamon heavy opening ...I would check those first🤷

... KathrynA66 Itscoral KathrynA66 I also love "Fall Cashmere | Skylar" and "Vanilla Sky (Eau de Parfum) | Skylar" is very pretty too. I don't really have a lot of desert fragrances. I'm fond of gourmands like "Hayloft | Pineward" and "Ponderosa | Pineward". "Kenzo Amour | Kenzo" is fabulous though. Spicy, lactonic rice pudding. Very affordable. You might also like "Gold Sugar | Pink Sugar" Panne cotta note. I'm not sure if this is still available. "Khamrah | Lattafa / لطافة" (some say it's similar to "Angels' Share | Kilian". I don't know about that, having never tried AS, but Khamrah is a beautiful, spicy gourmand. Veey affordable. Maybe "Fior di Pane | Profumo di Firenze", which opens on a really beautiful bread note, eventually settling down to soft florals. "Khamrah | Lattafa / لطافة" is a lovely, cinnamon heavy perfume, but I wouldn't say it's a dupe for "Angels' Share | Kilian" . I'd say they're more like cousins. It's still a beautiful scent though. I can definitely justify having both since they're different enough, in my opinion. Thank you for the info! I have heard Angel's Share is similar to apple pie. If so, "Khamrah | Lattafa / لطافة" is VERY different from AS! It seems to depend very much on the person. For me "Khamrah | Lattafa / لطافة" has almost nothing to see with "Angels' Share | Kilian" while friends claim they are very similar. Either way, both are excellent responses to the question of the OP
