... some of my favs: "Salome | Papillon Artisan Perfumes" (hyraceum, jasmine, carnation and other things) "Mandodari / มณโฑ | Prin" (Civet, opium, tuberose, gardenia) "Unutamam | Nishane" (castoreum, rosemary, oregano, carnation, mint) "Stercus | Orto Parisi" (castoreum, dark woods) "The Lover's Tale | Francesca Bianchi" (sweaty leather, costus-like weird skin accord, I think either civet or castoreum, peach among other things) "Oud Maximus (2020) | Bortnikoff" (civet, and castoreum and deer musk and an animal oud) "Tonnerre / 1805 | Beaufort" ( I don't like it but it's blood and gunpowder sooo)

animalic perfumes that smell like sex and danger

When you find out I want all of them :) but seriously speaking "Salome | Papillon Artisan Perfumes" is incredible for the purely feminine "Mandodari / มณโฑ | Prin" is still femme imo but like vaguely soft-hard vibes "Unutamam | Nishane" is extremely masc but oh my god I would lose my shit if a woman wore it "The Lover's Tale | Francesca Bianchi" is great and kinda queasy-frisky in a way sorta like "Varanasi | Meo Fusciuni" which is also incredible with a similar note to "Tonnerre / 1805 | Beaufort" which is the only animalic too much for me. You might like that or "Vi Et Armis / East India | Beaufort" tho "Yloud-Yloud | Angelos Créations Olfactives" and "Oud Maximus (2020) | Bortnikoff" are both incredible but maybe a bit less distinct

... my signatures have been different but in order "Fucking Fabulous / Fabulous (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" then "Stercus | Orto Parisi", then "Musc Ravageur | Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle", then "Salome | Papillon Artisan Perfumes", then "Unutamam | Nishane", next will probably be "Mandodari / มณโฑ | Prin" when I get a full bottle

I really love "Unutamam | Nishane" as one of my fav fragrances ever but "Ani (Extrait de Parfum) | Nishane" and "Hacivat | Nishane" seem unoriginal to me i wanna try "Karagoz | Nishane", "Pachulí Kozha | Nishane", "Afrika-Olifant | Nishane", "Nefs | Nishane", "Shem | Nishane", and "Mana | Nishane"

... Wearing "Salome | Papillon Artisan Perfumes" for the first time from the bottle after getting a sample months ago It’s all relative... I’m getting like an orangey, chocolatey, sorta cola-y vibe but like with other things too... still figuring it out! Maybe some myrrh, apricot, oud, honey, slight funk , Benzoin, civet, musk, castoreum, Hyraceum, rum, almost a strawberry, almost a chalkiness

... Basically a Leather chypre with no aldehydes with a ton of inspo from Francesca Bianchi’s "The Lover's Tale | Francesca Bianchi" and both high-grade oud ( known for it’s cola quality) and more distasteful (to some) Laotian animalic oud, there are also a ton of animalics… going for a mix of "Oud Maximus (2020) | Bortnikoff" base and "The Lover's Tale | Francesca Bianchi" base. I also wanted traditional base notes like cedar and vanilla to have an ethereal, distant, top feel. I also took elements of "Salome | Papillon Artisan Perfumes" like the hyraceum and floral combo and also added some other diff notes I love that are untraditional to chypres: notably Patchouli among others also replaced the typical cedar base with top note cedar and palo santo/white sage base I just think it’s cool. will prob get Ensar to make this bespoke when I have a LOTT more money

"Salome | Papillon Artisan Perfumes" is a challenging signature but it’s perfect for my persona… otherwise prob "Unutamam | Nishane" or "The Lover's Tale | Francesca Bianchi" or "Oud Maximus (2020) | Bortnikoff" or "Horizon | Oriza L. Legrand" but "Salome | Papillon Artisan Perfumes" is far and way the signature scent of me

... NicheOnly I'm pretty experienced in the so-called premium niche tier ( from recognized brands) , but a lot of these are wayyyy out there for price. Some of my suggestions: "Sultan | Royal Crown" - top oud-vanilla on the market from a very hard to access brand, €579 for 100ml "Nefs | Nishane" - oud-rose-honey with ~10 layers, perfect standout fragrance for fall-winter, €525 for 50ml "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff" - powdery oud-rose, love this as a formal-business signature scent, €545 for 100ml "Enigma pour Homme / Creation-E pour Homme (Parfum) | Roja Parfums" - like a slightly animalic coca-cola, €450 for 50ml Scents that I have wishlisted: "Nocturna | Royal Crown" - I view it as a femme fatale fragrance, but it's surprisingly close to unisex. Smells like sugared tropical fruit with some florals and ambergris, a high-quality take of the scent profile offered by "God of Fire | Stéphane Humbert Lucas" "Imperator | Royal Crown" - one of my favorite woody blends, smells like a plate of sawdust. Creamy laurel on dry cedar. "Elysium pour Homme (Parfum) | Roja Parfums" - we all know this Scents that have been of interest to me: "meltmyheart (Eau de Parfum) | Strangelove NYC / ERH1012" - it appears to be a very nice gourmand fragrance "Dubai - Turath | Nabeel" - the profile offered by scents like "Jubilation XXV Man | Amouage" and "Secret Tryst | Fragrance Du Bois" is among my most loved, so the accords on this do have me interested "The Moon | Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle" - just haven't gotten around to this yet all are on my wishlist too!!

Frabra88 It doesn't cost that much but it surely smells like thousands , it's Russian Tea from Masque Milano, it captures the smell of a first class compartment train to Russia between tea and a seriusly sophisticated leather. Extremely well blended, as many are from the exception nose Julien Rasquinet. Sounds PERFECT
