... Hey @DesireeM , agreed about the pencil shavings quality of "You (Eau de Parfum) | Glossier" ! There are a bunch I’ve smelled with this feel to them, and I’d probably have to sit down with my test list to think of which one had the most noticeable/dominant portrayal. But I did find there are quite a few fragrances “tagged” by users with this term too, in case you hadn’t seen them while you’re hunting. ... Hey @Smellinkel , is it indoor or outdoor? How formal is it? Based on this list, I'd vote "2. Nawab of Oudh Intensivo | Ormonde Jayne" . But from the rest of your collection, maybe "Grand Soir (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" ? Even though it's more ambery, the lavender could balance nicely with the warmer weather. If that feels too heavy for the temps, then "Blue Talisman (Eau de Parfum) | Ex Nihilo" could be another option. It's such a refined, uplifting citrus blend to me!

... @SuqarPlum that's awesome you've already tried some in store that you enjoyed! ☺️ I go in to stores with fragrances all the time just to test them, and when I find one I like I'll keep coming back to test it on my skin a few times/over time just to see if it's something worth buying later, so I get how it takes time to figure it out (or in case ordering samples is too expensive)! Some more pear-forward scents: "Pear Inc. | Juliette Has A Gun" "English Pear & Freesia (Cologne) | Jo Malone"

Even if the body mists you use right now are too sweet/not totally your taste, are there any notes in them that you really love so far? @Daveoo 's suggestion was a good one - to order a few scent samples first of notes that interest you, if you can. Then you'll start to learn what you do/don't like, which will help you get closer to figuring out what might be a best "signature" for you!

... So this might sound strange, but I wonder if you’d find what you’re looking for in one of these threads! Cold, shimmery, and iridescent sounds (to me) like a lot of what people are looking for, when they ask for fragrance recs that smell like snow/ice. Hope you find a match 🌙 and if you discover something that fits, I’d love to hear what it is (since I’m curious)! P.S. for non-gourmand/non-aquatic/no patchouli, "Gentle Fluidity (Silver) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" kind of makes me think of the moon. It’s metallic/feels like silver, and chilly! What to do when you find a scrubber?

... Hey @Seltzerpapi , I know exactly what you mean - it's always the scrubbers that seem to last forever! This is the method I'd heard recommended in fragrance groups. Quite a few people swore by it, and it's been helpful for me personally as well: 1) Generously apply underarm deodorant over the top of the skin where you applied the fragrance 2) Let this sit for a bit (I sometimes do up to 10-15 minutes) 3) Scrub off with Dawn-brand dish soap 4) Repeat cycle if scent is not fully removed (but these steps often help the first round!)

... @bunnyshaped yes! I see you’re in the US: - just saw more than one box of it at both Ross and TJ Maxx/Marshall’s within the past month - have also seen it a bunch at Burlington, too Obviously the inventory varies quite a bit in these stores, so it can be hit or miss!

"Glinda Bubbly Pink (Eau de Parfum) | Ariana Grande" doesn't have rose listed, but definitely feels like pink soap IMO "Disney Princess - Ariel | Petite Beaute" closest fragrance I've found to actually smelling like creamy Dove soap bars "For Her (Eau de Parfum) | Narciso Rodriguez" "Narciso (Eau de Parfum Poudrée) | Narciso Rodriguez" powdery-clean-rose cult faves "Amazing Grace (Eau de Toilette) | Philosophy" another popular one, but too aldehydic for me personally; you might enjoy it, though!
