... Stoneyrocks Hello! I have been on Fragantica for a little while, I don't really post on forums, but I use it to check fragrance notes and reviews before I buy a fragrance. I had a condescending message regarding too many request?????? that I need to slow down, accusing me of being malicious, seriously I was just checking out the notes and reviews before I blind choose a fragrance. Anybody else had an experience like this? I had this happen today after I looked up about six perfumes in a row to check to notes. It’s ridiculous !!!!

... Ringtale "Mitsouko (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" !!! With cinnamon in it's base! Beautyful, stunning perfume :-)! Thank you for the suggestion. I am very familiar with Mitsouko and while it absolutely is a beautiful perfume, never in a million years would I consider it to be cinnamon forward.

What Notes Are You Tired of Seeing in Perfumes?

... I feel like oud had it's fifteen minutes of fame and there's nothing edgy about it anymore. Tired of seeing "whipped cream accord" as a note. I mean, it's just a light vanilla, right?

... Absolutely anything from Jo Malone. They smell great but I've sampled a bunch of them and none lasted even a full hour. I've stopped allowing myself to be tempted by them no matter how good the description.

... Juara Candlenut Body Creme. Smells absolutely delicious. A nut I've never smelled in real life but it must be what angels smell like.

... Looking for suggestions for a feminine or unisex cinnamon-heavy fragrance. Where the cinnamon is the star or at least one of the most prominent notes. So far I have tried: L de Lolita Lempicka Montale Honey Aoud Givenchy Organza Indecence (my favorite but discontinued and therefore too expensive now) Xerjoff Bouquet Ideale (this was really good!) Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois Serge Lutens Five O'clock Au Gingembre The Body Shop Red Musk But I know there are so many more! Which ones am I totally sleeping on and should buy samples of ASAP??? thanks

... Sadly, I find myself still checking Fragrantica more often than I'd like, simply because there are perfumes I'd like to know about that have zero reviews here. And every time I find myself popping back over there I'm like UGH because the pages take forever to load (especially if you're on mobile... it'll just break the page instead of loading). Too many ads and shit crammed onto their pages. I wish I never had to go back but like I said, some perfumes just don't have any info here (yet).

... now I don't plan to dump all my 1000+ old reviews at once into Parfumo, but I'm wondering by which criteria others use to chose what to repost and what to leave in the past. I am considering this very thing today, as I have hundreds of reviews that I am rather proud of and also think they could be useful to readers here. I am starting the transfer process by selecting the reviews of my all time favorite scents and limiting the amount I post in a day to not spam the reviews feed with too many from me at once.

... Hi kids! Longtime Fragrantica user and reviewer moving over here. (Packing up my toys lol) But seriously, yes to everything that has already been stated in this conversation. I thought the politics were getting so weird and there was too much hate. This site looks great, I wonder whatever took me so long. (old habits yadda yadda) Anyway, nice to be here, it really has a different vibe which is a breath of fresh air. Expect to see many many reviews from me showing up here. XOXO
