What are your favorite tobacco fragrances?

... Another one that I missed is "Verano / Montabaco Verano | Ormonde Jayne". Verano is the perfect summer, high heat tobacco scent. This is a grapefruit forward, sparkling masculine freshy with a base of cigar tobacco that is noticeably present from initial spray to drydown. If you're looking for a warm weather tobacco, I don't think you can get better than this!

What are your favorite tobacco fragrances?

... I've seen a lot of recommendation for "Triumph of Bacchus (Eau de Parfum) | Argos" already but I can't recommend tobaccos without including it. Definitely get your nose on it if you haven't already. Sweet and heavy but not in a sticky way like "Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" and "Tobacco Honey | Guerlain" Some other great Tobaccos I don't see on this list yet are: "Austin | City Rhythm" - A rougher more masculine Angels Share with pipe tobacco, leather and cognac. This has great performance and is warm and spicy without feeling overly sweet or cloying. "Tobacco Mandarin | Byredo" - This feels like a grown up version of "Jazz Club | Maison Margiela" (If you haven't tried Jazz Club yet I also highly recommend as a tobacco scent). This is a mature, evening night out scent. It reminds me of being inside a warm cigar humidor after a cocktail hour. "Sellier / La Selle | Byredo" - Where Tobacco Mandarin is a night out, Sellier is a night in. Warm, steamy, slightly smokey earl grey tea clings to an addictive suede accord with dried unlit tobacco leaf in the mid and base. Equal parts comforting and confidence boosting. Could make for a unique and manly signature scent. "Egyptian Smoke | Dunhill" - I don't see Tobacco listed on Parfumo but it is elsewhere and there is absolutely some kind of tobacco accord going on here regardless of notes. This is an absolute steal for the price, especially if you can find it on discounters. The term niche quality gets thrown around a lot but this is one of the times I feel like it works and it's arguably the most unique and challenging designer frag I own. Woody black tea, syrupy red rose and pleasantly stale cigar smoke on a vanillic base. This reminds me of a cozy, tried and true smoking jacket. "Journey Man | Amouage" - The true spice bomb. Journey Man is somehow both fresh and heavy at the same time. It opens with a blast of peppery spices and a very green neroli accord. As it dries down a very pleasant note of dried whole tobacco leaves permeates the scent and remains present until the fragrance dissipates completely. This is the most underrated Amouage imo and one I think deserves much more attention. "XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber | Clive Christian" - Maybe the Rolls Royce of smooth tobacco/ambery fragrances. Blonde Amber is a gorgeously complex blend of creamy florals, golden classy amber and sweet (but not too sweet) tobacco leaf. Every time I wear this I find a different nuance to enjoy and it performs insanely well. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket then Blonde Amber is never a bad choice. At the very least it's worth sampling. Some seriously special stuff! "London for Men (Eau de Toilette) | Burberry" - Another excellent and affordable designer. This takes the "christmas in a bottle" vibe and puts a totally different twist on it. Instead of smelling sweet, warm, sticky and inviting this smells like the winter air outside. Cooling notes of pine and a warmer, leathery tobacco. Imagine stepping outside for a smoke during the middle of a christmas gathering during the evening. You're hit with the cooling, quiet calm of winter stillness. That is London. "Bvlgari Man In Black | Bvlgari" - Incredible scent profile while it lasts. This is boozy tobacco done right! It is effortlessly classy and easy to wear for nice events where you want to smell good but not loud.

... After exploring the tea note a lot this year, "Néroli Outrenoir | Guerlain" is a clear winner for me. Absolute masterpiece imo

Floral but long lasting

... I find Tuberose is a long lasting floral note. I second the suggestions of "Carnal Flower (Eau de Parfum) | Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle" and "Armani Privé - Rouge Malachite | Giorgio Armani". Carnal flower is a masterpiece imo. "Do Son (Eau de Toilette) | Diptyque" is another great one. If you want something more citrussy or refreshing I highly recommend you try "Néroli Plein Sud | Guerlain", an airy, lightly spiced white floral scent that radiates an adventurous, carefree spirit. As well as "Néroli Outrenoir | Guerlain", a fresh floral tea masterpiece !

... "Animalique | Byredo" - White suede and light musks, a great blend of light and dark and perfect for fall. "Hinoki & Cedarwood | Jo Malone" - Bathing in forest temple hot spring. Serene, warm and clean. "Bois d'Arménie | Guerlain" - A dusty library filled with ancient forgotten books and rare woods. "Sellier / La Selle | Byredo" - Sipping earl grey tea in a study while it rains out. Dark, thoughtful and equal parts powerful and calming.

... @Ringtale, love me some florals. What draws you to those ones in particular? @snoopygrrl, good choices! All the Arianna's I've tried are mad good for the price. @Ceesie, "Layton | Parfums de Marly" might be popular to fragrance enthusiasts but it's still very unique to the majority of the population. And it's popular for a reason, the stuff is great! Hope you get your hands on a full bottle soon.

... @Skender, great choices. I'm super intrigued by "Hibiscus MahaJád | Maison Crivelli". "Oud for Greatness (Eau de Parfum) | Initio" is incredible, definitely recommend! @CallMeTee, those Guerlains are so special and in a way you get what you pay for but still soo much 🙄 I'd own over half the collection if they were reasonably priced, they're all so good. "Tobacco Honey | Guerlain", "Néroli Plein Sud | Guerlain" and "Néroli Outrenoir | Guerlain" are my favourites. @BiliousBetil, "Triumph of Bacchus (Eau de Parfum) | Argos" is such a treat. I need to wear this more. Such a statement! Good luck with your no buy!

Carlisle or Oajan?

... They are both quite different. "Oajan | Parfums de Marly" is very sweet, with apple and cinnamon. It's a more casual, fun, but still seductive scent profile. "Carlisle | Parfums de Marly" can be harsh and challenging, especially in the opening, but it dries down into pure class. Carlisle is much more serious and dark, while still maintaining a golden sweetness.

What's your top "feel good" mood-lifter fragrance?

... "Imagination | Louis Vuitton", "Tobacco Vanille (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford", "Pacific Rock Moss | Goldfield & Banks" or "Néroli Plein Sud | Guerlain". All of these just work so well on my skin and are so enjoyable/comforting to wear!
