Looking for a Modern Take on Vintage

... "La Panthère (Eau de Parfum) | Cartier" is exactly that, a modern take on vintage chypres, and it's really gorgeous; tailored, sophisticated, warm and radiant. The edt is also beautiful, as well as the parfum if you want it even richer and more sumptuous...quite animalic actually (it reminds me of vintage "Femme (1945) (Eau de Cologne) | Rochas" which is the quintessential classic 50s tailored vamp, and definitely not for anyone looking for modern!) "Nomade (Eau de Parfum) | Chloé" is another new and very good take on vintage which would be quite appropriate in a flirty office setting, lol.

Best floral Guerlain perfume?

... "Chamade (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" is the best hyacinth perfume out there bar none, and "L'Instant de Guerlain (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" is one of my most beloved floral-oriental (magnolia and jasmine with honey and amber) perfumes of all time. For slightly more audacious florals, "Champs-Ély sées (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" and "Jardins de Bagatelle (Eau de Parfum) | Guerlain" are two more from the main line that present beautiful, rather extravagant full floral bouquets, though they may seem a bit outdated to some modern noses. Both are glorious.
