... Jessaiee Hi, always lovely to meet a fellow gourmand girly! Based on some of these notes, here are the most edible scents i'd recommend: "Crumb Couture | Snif" (croissant, vanilla) "Vanilla Cake | Montale" (milk, caramel, vanilla) / "Vanille Absolu | Montale" (vanilla, cinnamon) "Casamorati - Lira (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" (citrus, vanilla, caramel - likened to lemon cake often) "Cheirosa '71 | Sol de Janeiro" (vanilla, caramel, macadamia, white chocolate, coconut blossom - sooo yummy, only thing is that it lacks duration) "Le Gourmand | Jousset Parfums" (toast, butter, cookie dough, chocolate, hazelnut - nutella in perfume form) "Accident à la Vanille - Crème de la Berry | Jousset Parfums" (strawberry, vanilla, whipped cream, cheesecake - very sweet and delicious) "Bonbon (Eau de Parfum) | Viktor & Rolf" (peach, citrus, caramel - has a nice, lightly woody drydown) "Sweet Tooth (Eau de Parfum) | Sabrina Carpenter" (chocolate marshmallow, coconut milk, vanilla, cream - fluffier and lighter gourmand compared to those above) "Eilish (Eau de Parfum) | Billie Eilish" (sugar, geometry dash , berries, vanilla, cocoa) If you're open to indie brands, my fav so far has been black hearted tart! In particular, i love their strawberry blonde (croissant, strawberry preserves) and paris is burning (creme brulee). Very sweet and wonderfully tasty scents, i haven't found designer or niche gourmands that i love quite as much so far tbh Thank alot!

... Datshrub Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could share their experience with Alexandria Fragrances. From what I gather from the reviews on this site, their clones are generally held in high regard, although it seems a month or so of maturation is typically suggested. I am pretty close to purchasing their 7x5ml sample set just to get an idea of some expensive fragrances I've been wanting to get my nose on for a while, but figured I might as well ask what the scoop is first. For reference, here are my current choices (the sample set is build-your-own): 1981X - cloning Xerjoff Naxos Cali Love - cloning LV California Dream Dark Knight - cloning Kilian Black Phantom Fire of God - cloning SHL777 God of Fire Megatron - cloning Orto Parisi Megamare Purpl3 H@ze - cloning Initio Psychedelic Love Visionary - cloning LV Imagination geometry dash breeze Any thoughts/experiences would be of great help. Thanks! Grady, I appreciate the update. especially, I prefer it to the original, and it only costs 10%!

Scents that don't suit their bottles

... TommieBootje Posting this because 1) I'm curious if other people have also come across scents that don't suit their bottles and 2) if this isn't just a me thing. I just posted a statement about a perfume that I tried a sample of. One of the things that stood out to me is that the scent really doesn't suit the colour of the bottle. To be exact: the statement was about "Flora Gorgeous Magnolia | Gucci" which has a cool, cloudy purple bottle. That colour made me expect a cool scent, or a scent that contains a purple flower like lavender, lilac, violet or iris. Of course the name should have alerted me that I wouldn't smell any of those purple flowers. However, when I smelled this perfume on me, all I could think of was "that bottle should have been a warm, creamy yellow". Because whether Gucci likes it or not, Flora Gorgeous Magnolia smells like a warm, creamy yellow. And although I wouldn't necessarily call a warm, creamy yellow smelling perfume in a cool, cloudy purple bottle misleading, it certainly caught me off-guard. It's like biting into an ice cream that looks like a lemon sorbet, but then finding out it's actually a funky coloured chocolate ice cream. Sure, chocolate ice cream and space bar clicker is nice too, I actually like both, but it's confusing when you were expecting something completely different. Anyway. What bottles made you expect a totally different scent than the perfume that was actually in them? Groove Xcape is, in my opinion, one of the most aggravating.Xcape Groove. It appears to be an aquatic freshie but is actually a dark brooding smokey incense aroma.
