What is the story with Montale?

... Jomas Google Ammar Atmeh Montale. Old story, almost forgotten, but yeah. Very helpful Jomas. Thank you. Most interesting was a 2021 Facebook post from Gabe Oppenheim, author of "The Ghost Perfumer." This sounds like it could be a great follow-up to The Ghost Perfumer. It's alleged that the company was stolen from Atmeh by Pierre-Louis Repellin. While operating another brand, Repellin was allegedly convicted in France of counterfeiting JPG perfumes. I wasn't able to find anything more specific about this case.

... Sampling "Buio | Meo Fusciuni". Initial thoughts, I've walked into a BBQ joint. Quite smokey. Will be interesting to see how it dries down. Edit: Two, two-and-one half hours in, my wife says I smell like a pig roast, and referenced a favorite BBQ joint. While still smokey, it's not as bad as she describes. Don't think it's for me though.
