Creed Aventus - Performance questions & discussion

Hello dear Community, so I recently acquired a 10 ml Souk of "Aventus | Creed" here from the Community, Batch F000543 (2023) and although I expected bad performance I am still a bit shocked about the fact of just how bad it is. Even directly after Spraying it is hard for me to smell the perfume if I am not directly sniffing my arm or shirt. So almost non-existent projection, very faint smell. The longevity is actually alright (like maybe 6-8 hours) but I seems to be very faint and skin-scent-ish straight from the start. So my questions are: Is it just how it is? Do I need to apply way more (as the Tester is spraying way less than the Creed Bottle which in my experience tend to spray a lot)? Do I go nose blind? How is the Performance of the 2024 / 2025 batches? Thinking about buying "Aventus | Creed" but yeah not for the price if I can't improve the performance somehow. Thanks and all the best, Maurice

... Smirky I have it and like it a lot too. Haven't had any issues with performance. Very good longevity and projection. Don't know why it's not that great for you. Alright thanks for the reply! How many sprays do you usually use with golden oud?

... Received my bottle "1 Million Golden Oud | Rabanne" today form the official Rabanne Website. Actually quite an old batch (31291 / 2023-05-09). So far I'm loving the scent, it's amazing. But I'm kinda disappointed by the projection and longevity. Does the juice need some maturation before getting a better performance? Does someone has some experience like that? Scent - 9/10 Longevity - 5 / 10 Projection - 5/10

Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition performance issues?

... Hello my dear Parfumo Community, so recently I acquired "Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition | Armaf" and I like it quite a bit (although it's a bit linear for me). The only thing is that I don't like the projection and performance that much. It seems to be a heavier scent staying quite close to you, here I would have wished for a bit more projection. But I think that's normal for this fragrance right? The other thing is performance. So I get like 4 Hours of okay performance with mild projection and after that a kinda skin scent up until 8 hours and then it's hardly noticeable with your nose really close to the fabric. And all this on clothes (on my skin fragrances do not perform well unfortunately). Is this a normal performance for "Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition | Armaf" ? Did I get a bad Batch or does it have to ripen (macerate) a few weeks for having better performance? I have a quite young Batch (Batch EU 422091 from France and 12/2023). Last question. "Club de Nuit Intense Man (Eau de Parfum) | Armaf" seems to project better. Does it also have a better performance? Is the smell similarly good or worse? How do you like the pure Parfum Version"Club de Nuit Intense Man (Parfum) | Armaf" ? Thanks fam!

New Le Male Elixir Bottle smells horrible?!

... Hello my dear Parfumo Community, yesterday finally my brand new bottle of "Le Mâle Elixir | Jean Paul Gaultier" arrived and hastily and full of anticipation I sprayed some sprays on my arm. Quite quickly I was confused as the Mint and Lavender was so sharp, so spicy even burning my nose quite a bit that it was quite unpleasant. Very different from a Tester I still have and which I really love. The development of the fragrance was like a farce, a poor shadow of the tester I have. Very inhamonius. The beginning way to harsh and loud with this horrible overtuned Mint and Lavender. Then an unbalanced sweetness with some weird smell to it and in the end it lasted way shorter then the tester. And again I absolutely love the tester. There all the accords work together beautifully and with the new bottle It's just an unpleasant mess. Now my question. The bottle contains the Batch 40301 with the production date 2024-01-30. So it's quite fresh. Do I just have to let the bottle ripe a bit and Maceration will give me the amazing fragrance I know? Or did I get a bad Bottle/Batch and should I try to return it? I am pretty sure it's an original bottle as I bought it from a respectable online store and it was still sealed with the same Batch Number on the package and on the bottle. Thanks community!
