Which brand do you guys recommend getting a discovery set?

Recently I've been really into 10ml fragrance bottle to really test them through a much longer period, this way I discovered beautiful fragrances from Voyages Imaginaires and Isabelle Larignon but know that these 10ml sample kits might cost you the price of an entire 100-75ml niche perfume bottle.  Hi, @Zavy. May I ask where you purchased the Meo Fusciuni discovery set? I love Giuseppe Imprezzabile's brand, but I've never seen discovery sets. In Japan, some brands often come with discovery sets or the occasional sample, but not Meo Fusciuni. Thank you for sharing. Hi @Raluko111, I am from France. Here we have two shops/retailers offering this sample set : - Odorare - 50-ml (which I got mine from, but now it's unavailable) Both of these sites are really reliable, I ordered a few times from each, but I do not know if they can ship to Japan. I guess the best way is to ask them and ask for the costs of shipping too.

... Faut dire que les création d'Alessandro Gualtieri pour Nasomatto et Orto Parisi sortent vraiment du lot par le côté déjanté du parfumeur. Forcément c'est compliqué de trouver des maisons qui proposent une direction aussi poussée et assumée dans un délire un temps soit peu provocateur. As-tu eu l'occasion d'aller sentir quelques création d'Etat Libre d'Orange ? Ils ont énormément de références, mais c'est du très beau parfum, de l'art pour l'art souvent. Je pense que tu peux totalement y trouver ton compte.

"Portrait of a Lady (Eau de Parfum) | Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle", I usually associate rose with women but with "Déclaration d'Un Soir | Cartier" I feel that POAL is a beautiful spicy en sensual rose that can fit anyone. "Féminité du bois | Serge Lutens"  "Equistrius | Parfum d'Empire" light, poetic and a soft violet. But it would feel a man with class.

Best sweet- leathery fragrances

Maybe I'd suggest that you try some less sweat fragrances, this could open your possibilities greatly and enjoy a bit more well balanced fragrances imo: "Cuir Grenat | L'Artisan Parfumeur" that is very similar to "Tuscan Leather (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" : raspberry and leather, it is very easy to wear. "Fleur du Mal | Dries Van Noten" peachy suede beautifully brought together. "Sugar Leather | Une Nuit Nomade" toffee and leather, this one is the sweetest of the list but it excellent for a date.

Recommend a Creed perfume for office wear

... I am not a big fan of Creed. But the only perfume I like from their lineup is "Bois du Portugal | Creed", it is quite mature, classy and professional. I suggest that you try it before buying.

... As I posted ly review of "Fleur du Mal | Dries Van Noten", I remembered how the whole collection has beautiful bottles, especially "Soie Malaquais | Dries Van Noten". In my opinion it can make a little bathroom trophy.

... You probably have covid. Jokes aside, try spraying places away from your nose. Try spraying just your wrists first to get used to the smell. Once you spent few days like this try to spray on your torso and shoulders. Then on your neck.

...You wear a perfume for yourself first, you should not worry that much about what people think about something you wear in general. Plus gender in the perfume world is quite a marketing topic. I often wear so called women fragrances, and never had an issue with it. If you like a perfume go for it. Otherwise you can always try these, they are all quite playful and they could be easily worn by a masculine guy in his twenties : "Bohemian Lime | Goldfield & Banks" - citrusy fresh. "Virgin Island Water | Creed" - citrusy pina colada. "Neroli Portofino (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" - clean and fresh citrus, smells like clean laundry but in a good way. "You Or Someone Like You | Etat Libre d'Orange" - minty mojito. "Escale en Indonésie | Les Indémodables" - ambergris and citrus, it is beautiful and very fresh. "Fico di Amalfi | Acqua di Parma" - fig and citrus based fragrance.

... "Beau de Jour (Eau de Parfum) | Tom Ford" fresh, aromatic and clean barber scent that works fantastic, I had many compliments wearing it on night dates. "Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver | Guerlain" a refreshing, clean, effervescent neroli. "L'Humaniste | Frapin" gin in a bottle, fresh and a bit boozy, the smell is really addictive. In the same vein, you can try "Gentle Fluidity (Silver) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian" it is a bit less playful, slightly sweeter, and has this mature clean vibe + the projection is important. Be careful Gentle Fluidity is quite concentrated in ambroxan if you are sensitive to that note. "Reflection Man | Amouage" jasmine, neroli, iris (roots) timeless smell that suits almost every occasion. I am also wearing it when it's a bit warm during spring. "Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême | Chanel" safe pick, fresh, seductive and class.

I do not think these fragrances are even referenced here. edit: I was wrong :  https://www.parfumo.com/Perfum. ..  and "Parfum de Zmeu | Createur 5 d'Emotions"  I own Apa Vie and Parfum de Zmeu B.A.S.M, created by Créateur 5 d'Émotions, a Romanian perfumery.  These perfumes aim to translate fairy tales into scents. 'Apa Vie' means 'living water' in Romanian folklore, and it has the power to bring any being back to life. On the other hand, 'Zmeu' refers to a mythical creature often depicted as a dragon or ogre in Romanian legends. The scent of Parfum de Zmeu captures the essence of a lush, pristine swamp—believe me, the fragrance is truly captivating. Please feel free to correct me if there are any inaccuracies in my description, as I am not Romanian.

Here is a selection of perfumes that bright tobacco up : "Cuir Cuba Intense | Nicolaï / Parfums de Nicolaï" (really based on a thick dry, earthy and rich tobacco leaf complimented with a slightly thick leather) "Vanille Havane (Eau de Parfum) | Les Indémodables" (cacao, tobacco, vanilla, rhum and dried fruits done to perfection; it's perfect spring/winter smell) "Tabac Tabou | Parfum d'Empire" (a bouquet of fruity flowers upon which a rich and creamy pipe tobacco emerges, with an oriental and animalic touch) "Fumerie turque | Serge Lutens"  (a hookah tobacco on a bed of honey-glazed dried fruits and animalic leather) "2# Nota di Viaggio (Shukran…) | Meo Fusciuni" (it's really a mint based perfume, yet on the dry down a beautiful tobacco takes the lead in this very poetic composition)

Here is a selection of mine, a vanilla for every occasion : "Vanille de Tahiti (Eau de Parfum) | Perris Monte Carlo"  (pure vanilla, if you want to smell like a vanilla bean) "Eau Duelle (Eau de Parfum) | Diptyque" (fat vanilla, warmed by a gentle enscense) "Oud Vanillé | Cartier" (powdery vanilla with a beautiful opulent oud) "Shalimar Millésime Vanilla Planifolia | Guerlain" (vintagey diaphanous vanilla with amber) "Vanille Havane (Eau de Parfum) | Les Indémodables" (chocolate rhum and vanilla, this one can really be a head turner) Note that these are really not sweet, but they still get that gourmand yet comforting smell from them.

... I have no idea if you like coffee scents but for some reason I always associate autumn with it. Here are so nice one that I own/ed or smelled : - "Little Song | Meo Fusciuni" : beautiful and poetic. - "Awake | Akro" : realistic, strong and limy. - "Café Cabanel | Téo Cabanel" spicy, gourmand and buttery coffee. - "Café Tabac | Aedes de Venustas" tobacco, rich coffee.

... "Akkad | Lubin" is a piece of art I have it on a shelf in my bedroom and it looks like a little sculpture. Otherwise every bottle of Les Bains Guerbois (I'll just add "1992 Purple Night | Les Bains Guerbois" for reference here) is beautiful and handcrafted.
