Designer fragrance batch variations?

... Hey everyone! It appears that "Wanted by Night | Azzaro" has been discontinued for a while, but Azzaro changed the bottle to a cheaper looking silver one before they axed it. Some people said that it smells different and performs weaker than the older bottles. Is it a myth? Is it worth it to hunt down a bottle with the darker top from 2023 or before?

... Hello! I've just found this thread, here is my experience. I have bought a few bottles from Vinted, always carefully checked the pictures and the seller's information and ratings and it's been a success for me so far. 😀 (though all of them were designer perfumes) Most of the time, you can instantly tell if a fragrance is fake, because they almost always are: poor quality, brand new in box with a white anti-theft label or a price tag stuck to it with some "duty free" nonsense to make it look real. Try to look for: testers (most of them come in a brown cardboard box), unboxed/partial bottles, smaller sizes than 100ml - other than the testers which still have a chance to be fake, the others will be real.
