... Tough. Four might be easier, but I digress . . . . 1. Guerlain Vetiver, EDT or EDC (basically any of them from the Listerine bottle on back). 2. Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver. Would love to add Malle's French Lover and Heeley's Sel Marin.

... James Heeley: Sel Marin, Cologne Officinale, Oranges and Lemons say the Bells of Saint Clément's or Vetiver Veritas. All are around 145 euros for 100ml except the Vetiver that is 140 for 50ml. All are exceptional quality and one of the best values you can find in perfume if you like the scents. I have yet to sample Oranges and Lemons, but, Vetiver Veritas is on top of my list from Heeley followed by Sel Marin. You can get all four in samples for around 20 euros in a pick your sample pack from their web site.

Should I Say Goodbye to Tom Ford?

... Well of the couple I have tried the only bottle I have bought is Beau de Jour. To me it is a wonderful scent for a day at the office, especially in spring. Other than that I have not tried anything that I would want to spend the money on. So much out there to smell and enjoy I do not concern my self with Tom Ford that much.

... Thanks @DRKSHDW The not to sweet is the big thing for me as I don't care for scents that are and prefer ones that lean masculine usually. I know with ambers like this the best I can really hope for is not to sweet unisex.

... Zavy I am not a big fan of Creed. But the only perfume I like from their lineup is "Bois du Portugal | Creed", it is quite mature, classy and professional. I suggest that you try it before buying. This is EXACTALLY what I was gong to say.

Best sweet- leathery fragrances

... DKC I'm a proud owner of both Dior Homme Parfum and Ombre Leather Parfum. I'll be getting Noir Extreme Parfum in the future and I'm looking for something with the same aesthetic in terms of both the scent and the bottle. I also own Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDP which is why I'm thinking of getting the Parfum in the future too unless if anyone can recommend a fairly cheaper alternative. How much time do you take before you post a review?

... It depends on the fragrance. There are a few that once I have tried them I know right away what I think one way or another they either repulse me right away or I jive with them so much that it just makes sense and easy to describe. Usually though, I need a few days of wearing to get my thoughts regarding a fragrance so I do it justice. Oh, and I never post anything on a fragrance I have just smelled on blotter, I feel that does not do a service to the perfume or anyone who takes the time to read the review.

... @Ceesie Beau de Jour is quickly replacing Ormonde Man as my daily office choice. I can't get enough of it, especially the dry down. I know it is supposed to remind everyone of Zino, but, I have never tried that one. As for the Dunhill Indian Sandalwood it simply disappeared on me to quickly. My skin chemistry really works against fragrances hanging around, at least it did with this one. While I could smell it it was a great Sandalwood that would make a beautiful office scent. Now I am searching for a Sandalwood with staying power, but, most are mixed with rose and my wife tends not to fancy rose scents on me. All this to say for the price on Joma the Dunhill is a must try for any one looking for a masculine sandalwood. Edited to add that Terre D'Hermes is one of my favorites, good purchase. Monday my new bottle of Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver should be delivered and I am very excited about that one.

... In my entire life I have had one lady stop and tell me I smelled good. Once. I am in my fifties. These videos where the say they get complimented on this or that are BS. Unless they work with a bunch of people that know they have a fragrance channel and are then asking "what do you think go this" all the time.

I haven't tried most of the others on your list but I didn't get those two at all. Ombre Leather quickly settled into that leather note and never changed so I walked around smelling like a leather sofa. Angels' Share was a hard no for me. Sprayed it on in a Sephora and then washed it off about 30 minutes later. So sickly sweat it became nauseating. Granted sweet perfumes are not my thing but I sometimes wonder how much everyone is buying into the hype with some of these perfumes.

Worst Smelling Men’s Fragrances For You?

... Go to local department store, point at any bottle in men's counter. If you did not point at Tom Ford Beau de Jour or Grey Vetiver you have pointed at one of the worst smelling fragrances I know. At least this applies to almost all the department stores I have visited in the last year.
