... "Autumn Vibes" is an enjoyable fall and winter scent for me, quite lovely. Not sure if some of the notes would be to close to your dislikes though! Worth a sniff if you ever come by it ^^

... Hello all, thought I'd share here! :P let me know if this is allowed or not? Just thought it was a nice offer I got an Instagram ad from 'Grives Perfume' they seem to be a newly launched brand and are giving away a free 10ml just pay shipping, seems they are trying to get their name out there! I believe this to just be for UK residents but it couldn't hurt to look if you're not from the UK? I'd be interested to know I'll let you guys know how I like it once it arrives! I decided on 'Floriq' as I quite fancied the notes! It could totally suck or it could be a great Perfume for a great price, I guess I'll find out! They currently have 5 scents: Petalia - 'Elegant Floral Passion Unleashed.' Notes are Peony, Raspberry and Jasmine Oasis - 'White Cactus Flowers, Vanilla and Coconut' Zephyra - 'Jasmine Kumquat and Bergamot.' Floriq - 'Osmanthus, Mandarin, Jasmine: Nature's Timeless Symphony.' Ethera - 'Lively Litchi, Rose Embrace, Leather Mesmerize'

... I have deduced recently that I'm quite opposed to rose, even though I really want to like it. To me it smells like household cleaners. I believe I'd enjoy it paired with sweet notes though, must experiment

... I'm talking body butters... soaps... body wash etc maybe candles? I LOVE Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush scent, It's a VERY sweet lime scent! I used to have the hand cream and despite the fact I hate the feeling of cream on my hands I reapplied it ALL DAY just because I was IN LOVE with the smell, sadly the line is small, I can only get the hand cream when they're selling special Christmas gift bundles....but S&G's other scent lines are really really good too! Nivea's Care & Cashmere bodywash is also fantastic, its got this lovely sweetness to it? Its not sharp at all... quite mellow of a smell, perfect for a relaxing bath!

Which is your favourite 'cheapy' ?

... Tosca looks wonderful, added it to my list to try <3 My personal favorite... "So...? Sinful | So...?" Its sort of juvenile... I'm so biased because of good memories, I stole this from my mother when I was a child all the time, it was my first experience with a sweet perfume, I was amazed that perfume could be so... yummy! I became obsessed! Its not the best but I love it especially for its price. It IS discontinued as a EDP but is available as a body spray that isn't too different but its VERY easy to get your hands on the EDP, got my eye on some ebay listings!

... Some people really just do not comment, I personally only will comment if the situation is one where I'm already conversing or we are close for a period of time. I do sometimes make comments to strangers if I REALLY like their fragrance but its usually the ladies <3 , I tend to not approach men, let alone comment on their fragrance but I've smelt some fantastic frags on guys!! I'd give an ask to a friend, see if they CAN smell you. I tend to wear fragrance purely for my own enjoyment, the sensory experience is a personal thing to me, but if others like how I'm stinkin' thats a huge bonus! If YOU like that frag on you keep wearing it! <3

Exclusivity outside of price tag

... If anyone knows of any in the UK I'd love to know, Outside of that I think very small houses would probably have some soft of exclusivity, given that their means for creating a fragrance is more limited? Cannot create hundreds of bottles and such.

Thoughts of Mascara

... I'll have to find and sniff those two and see if i get that mascara smell... I do quite like it, maybe not as a fragrance though, to me its like only very slightly powdery, its inky and waxy with a bit of a plastic-ness to it. Some mascaras contain Lanolin as well as some floral waxes so I pick up on a slight floral in some mascaras. Lots of waxes... resins... some oils derived from plants, really interesting now that I think about it.

How much time do you take before you post a review?

... I love samples so I'll leave a review after wearing a few times in different weather and such, I personally let the fragrance sit and go from there too as sometimes it improves with time (Like with Alien) but I think first impression reviews are great as you get an idea of what it might be for passers by haha

I left because I'd heard of the homophobia from the owners, and the site itself just felt outdated, the features for organizing perfumes weren't up to my personal standards, I liked a lot of the users on there though :] I haven't used it enough to come across too many unsavory users, after poking around on here I'm very happy with the site and hope there will be lots of interactions on here as I'd love to make friends.

Your thoughts on layering

... As someone who likes to experiment layering is VERY fun for me even if I get an unsavory result, I find that cheapies are the ones to layer more to be honest, the fragrances will uplift each other and it can boost longevity sometimes, also a great way to use up a perfume that you don't reach for as much, since you're altering the scent to more your liking. More expensive ones are obviously curated with a lot more precision for the price point/quality of the ingredients, not to say they cannot be layered! endless possibilities! I completely understand why someone wont want to layer, if you don't know it'll take time to learn what combos you like and sometimes we don't have the time to be doing that with the risk of hating the combination when you've got work to do and places to be, as well as the fact that each perfume on its own is an art piece....

... Hi! Just moved over from that one other site, saw this was a great site so here I am! My name is Charlotte I'm 21and I'm studying animation at Uni! I am from the UK 💓I am also Autistic and am developing a huge huge interest in perfume. I'm looking to slowly build up a collection and make friends who love treating their olfactory senses 🥰 I love making lists and organizing as well as finding as many cheapies as I can! I want to experiment with layering and making myself smell good. I enjoy a wide range of scents! I'm amazed at how so many scents can be curated... I don't have a lot of perfumes but when I build up a collection I'd love to be able to do splits and swaps, I've always admired that the community is able to share and make scents accessible to each other.
