...:lol: I totally believe Elvis Jesus is someone's name. I was just disappointed the perfume notes aren't something like Frankincense, Banana and Peanut butter. CLUE: “Oakmoss, Suede, Patchouli and Thyme…” Isn’t that a song? How can all of these contain the sound of one perfume? Steely Dan ‘Almost Gothic’ Iggy Pop ‘Punkrocker’ Willie Nile ‘Cell Phones Ringing (in the pockets of the dead)’ Marcy Playground ‘The Vampires of New York’ It’s easy if you listen very hard – it’s not as gloomy as it seems.

...I don't mind being your enabler Sweetgrass - what is special about Rogue and makes it worth trying is the lemon blossom overlaying the suede. It's a very good scent. I get glimpses of BV but my expectations were probably too high so I didn't give it a fair chance. Do try it yourself :-) You know you want to... PS The best description of my experience of Rogue is a review on Fragrantica by En Fragrance Delicto - 'Gucci Rush meets sugared lemon'. But with suede. Or 'a bite of leather' as the reviewer put it.

...Best - this is hard... I just tried "Nero Assoluto" and it's *very* good but I have a tendency to develop crushes on the last perfume I tested. Worst - "Rogue". Not horrid - just disappointing. It wasn't a "Bottega Veneta" ring-in for me. Weirdest - "Peety"? Weirdest concept in any case.

...Uh oh. It sounds like our cats have us both wrapped around their tiny, furry, sharp clawed fingers. You are absolutely right about cats needing viable choices. If you don't provide them, they create their own. And feline self-identified options are *rarely* ideal for the humans or canines sharing the cats' households. For example, need a comfy bed? Use the humans' bed. Need a cosy box? Steal the dog's house. Need a scratching post? Use the brand new Italian sofa. Hungry? How about that steak defrosting on the sink.... :lol:
