... I recently fell in love with "Un Air d'Apogée | Violet / Veolay". Green herbs, light tabacco, dusty hay, beewax and honey. It's different and complex without being overpowering. It's not necessarily cold weather-masculine-boozy, but I had to mention this beauty :)

... I second the Chanel Chance line as a good start. "Chance Eau Tendre (Eau de Toilette) | Chanel" is feminine - floral - light. It gets compliments, works well in different seasons and transitions nicely between daytime to nighttime.

... Ringtale As for a place that deserves a perfume? The world now needs "L'Air du Temps (Eau de Parfum) | Nina Ricci" a scent all about peace (at that time, created after Worldwar II to evoke the promise of peace) And I wouldn't mind the world smelling of L'Air du Temps...its beautyful. I wear it myself (it's my signature) and today I smelled it on a co-worker...oh...it's bliss! I hope this promise comes true soon and brings times of peace throughout the world🙏

... Hi all, I'm a relatively new fraghead, and though my collection is still small, I love the experience of trying out different scents and being transported to another place. Lately I thought about spring in Jerusalem where I grew up. Warm and dusty. White flower shrubs spill over white limestone walls. The deep roots send their offerings up to meet the spring. Jerusalem is never easygoing, but it's the one time she gets a smile on her face. Like a stern but fair teacher, that on rare occasions shows she's amused by her students' nonsense. Is there a place and a time you would dedicate a fragrance to? Are there already perfumes out there that embody a place or a memory you cherish?

... Bleufraglvr @Ceesie My most successful blind buy, without a doubt, has been "Vanille Havane (Eau de Parfum) | Les Indémodables" . I am in love with this fragrance. So much so, that I’ve been intentionally wearing it less to make the bottle last longer. Lol. I would love to make it my daily wear and signature scent, but I find it should be more of a night out, date night, special occasion fragrance given how special it’s become in my collection. That being said, I do wear it to work, or just randomly on occasion just because I’m in the mood and want to smell it. I was originally intrigued by the fragrance after someone mentioned it on the forum, and I decided to take the plunge and blind buy it after I watched this person’s review on YouTube; it was the YouTube review that finally sold me. Haha. He was really passionate about his love for the fragrance and it got me to finally commit to trying it blind. YouTube review It's a wonderful perfume! I got "Vanille Havane Coeur de Oud | Les Indémodables" as a blind buy but I treat it like a crown jewel and rarely touch it :)
