Which languages do you speak?

... Native English and Spanish speaker, and a bit of Japanese (can also read hiragana). I took Italian in high school which I kept practicing years after, so I can read/write and get by with it. I also started Latin and High Valyrian a few months back with my husband just for funsies. I'd love to study French and German.

... "Carnival of Souls | Marissa Zappas" instantly popped in my head. It's exactly what I'd consider a dark gourmand. It has sweet, smokey incense, amber and violet, which would be the "dark" notes, that perfectly merge with the vanilla, mimosa and coconut. Easily one of my favorite fragrances

... Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but my current favorite tea scent is "Milky Dragon | Isabelle Larignon", smells just like a warm cup of tea that makes everything better. It's fresh, soft, milky !

... Rose, cloves, peach, bubblegum and banana. I tested "Concrete | Comme des Garçons" today and I swear I could smell a hint of all of the above in it

What are your favourite and least favourite bottle designs?

... I will never not be enticed by slightly smoothed-out edges on rectangular bottles, topped by spherical caps. Or bottles with spherical caps in general. Some examples: "Chloë Sevigny - Little Flower | Régime des Fleurs" "Choux Choux | Liis" "Nearly Noon | DefineMe" "Seduction Theory | Universal Flowering" Marissa Zappas' bottles are absolutely beautiful too! "Carnival of Souls | Marissa Zappas" But my top favorite is Clue Perfumery bottles. "Warm Bulb | Clue Perfumery" That keyhole shape is so exquisite. Oh, one last honorable mention is "Odette | Gumamina" that swan, are you kidding me Now for eyesores: "Good Girl (Eau de Parfum) | Carolina Herrera" sorry I really cannot stand that shoe "Sunday | Arielle Shoshana" when the cap is bigger than the bottle "LES | Boy Smells" evil! Also any bottle with a body-shape or body parts.

What do you guys do with empty perfume bottles?

... We all have our go-to fragrances we keep repurchasing, I just don't have the heart to throw the empty ones away given how pricey they are and how pretty the bottle is. But I also don't want to hoard a bunch of empty bottles. Is there a way to recycle/repurpose them? Or any brands that refill them? I thought it'd be fun to repurpose some into candles but they're hard (and kind of dangerous?) to open. What do you guys usually do?

... Hi! I completely understand you, I live pretty far away from the city so I rely heavily on online shopping. I'm fairly new to the fragrance world so I don't know a ton of sites but so far I'm loving LuckyScent, Twisted Lily and So Avant Garde for niche fragrances. I have yet to try Scent Split and Surrender to Chance but I've heard they're also great places to buy samples!
