... Smirky The problem I have with influencers (and why I don't listen to them) is they have a tendency to like everything, no doubt because they are getting paid. I've found it's much better to identify users on Parfumo or Fragrantica who generally like what I like and use their reviews as guidance. I'd say my biggest problem, at least when starting out - less so now, was giving too much credence to note pyramids. They aren't totally useless but they can be misleading. This assessment is spot on! After apt a year to year and a half into my journey, I stopped listening as much. I started checking out other hidden gems from houses. This is how I stumbled upon fragrances such as "6 Place Saint Sulpice | Yves Saint Laurent", "Aventus Cologne | Creed" (before it became popular), "Starlight | Xerjoff" , "Rosewood (Eau de Parfum) | Arabian Oud" , etc.
