Spanish cistus

Spanish cistus is a variant of Cistus.

Cistus (Cistus), small shrubs, is a plant genus that grows mainly on poor, stony, dry soils in the Mediterranean region. Only the resin from the branches, the balsamic smelling labdanum, is used for perfumery.
