Cheap reliable blue perfume for a young person

I have a bottle of Faconnable Royal for some time now, the only representative of blue perfumes in my collection. It gets used a few times every year. It is a lovely blue perfume that does its job with no pretensions.

It is everything you expect from a blue bottle that costs $18. I recommend it for its high value to the demographic it targets. Nothing special, but good value as a generic all-purpose blue. The opening is strong burst of lavender and citrus, plus a melange of unspecified notes. Everything about this perfumes immediately points to a young person. The development is interesting as the citrus dies down with time and woody notes percolate up. I can smell sandalwood and tonka on my skin after 12 hours, albeit as a skin scent. Be warned that the top notes last a long time on clothing, obscuring the base notes on the skin. Overall, it is a nice perfume for a young person, though it is generic and may remind you of a million other blue scents. I believe that all perfumes can be worn by any gender at any time or season, but with appropriate discretion. Faconnable Royal will work for both men and women.

All the good qualities of this perfume are made less important by its low cost. That seems to be the driver of most purchases. I still recommend it.

Modern Fougere for Everybody.

Bergamot lavender, litsea cubeba, marine notes, cedarwood. And a tonka bean giving sweet feeling. Not groundbreaking but good. It is similar to Davidoff cool water, Lalique L'insoumis. But Lalique is way more herbalic and pepper. I find Royal is suitable for lots of people's like. (girl and boy gender) My 2nd favourite from the 4 decants I buy. No sillage. On clothes = 5-6 hours longevity. A bit mature but young guys can carry too. Doesnt disturb anyone, not too strong. Smells like shaving cream a bit. Marine notes, litsea, lavender cedar are the most dominants.

With the boat on...

... anchored on Lake Constance. Bright sunshine, we sit on the deck and enjoy the delicious things we've brought with us. We toast ourselves with the cold pink Crémant. A light sea breeze with a maritime chord comes from the lake. We have a lovely day on the lake.

When applying this perfume, the first thing the nose gets is a slightly sweet aquatic note, the sweetness soon disappears. This is joined by citric accords with lavender. There are also spicy and floral notes. This is rounded off with wood and green moss.

The longevity and silage are good.

This beautiful masculine fragrance is suitable for every age group and an all-rounder, I find it particularly wearable in spring and fall. The fragrance can also be worn well by the ladies.

Anyone who likes an aquatic fresh spicy masculine fragrance for a good price is in good hands with this one.

The rebellious Aquate who refuses to smell like Ambroxan!

I know. I'm about to get a verbal slap in the face again if I criticize Ambroxan fragrances here that have an insane hype and are always well received. But that's not my intention either, I even like Ambroxan as a fragrance, but when I think of actual high-quality, multi-layered fragrances that cost over €100 and are completely overlaid with Ambroxan due to the hype, then I find this one very refreshing and for an aquatic also high-quality and more balanced, if I then have to pay a maximum of €30 for this fragrance, the choice is actually very easy for me! To the fragrance itself, at the beginning has a shallow sweet tonka warmth exceptional for an aquatic, at the same time it is slightly tart and woody even the moss, also reminds in nuances of Irish moss and is not meant negatively, but for my taste a little too scratchy tart, then it is most likely fruity tart, slightly floral and "salt water air" fresh, together with the tart and the slight sweetness which disappears after 1 hour, a successful fragrance at an absolutely fair price! It could carry the creaminess of the tonka bean for longer, then it would be perfect for me! Lasts about 3-5 hours / sillage is rather in the background, not that you can't smell it, but it doesn't turn up either. I would buy it again at any time!
