Beautiful

What a beautiful creation by Antonio and Rajesh. Reading the notes, before the perfume arrived, i expected something totally different. Defining Ora a classic rose-oud i think is reductive, i think this creation is different from those currently on the market and that it offers something original. I was amazed by the excellent balance present within this composition, i was convinced to find an edgy, pungent, extremely green perfume but i was wrong. Here everything is perfectly balanced, starting from the slightly peppery opening and with hints of oud, passing through its evolution where a splendid rose with light hints of citrus and sweets is combined with this green note given by the pine that gives it light green shades. Light and thin, nothing heavy. I'm really happy to have this creation in my hands

A Nostalgic Niche

Ora is a fragrance that evokes nostalgia with its aroma , transporting me back to my childhood. Growing up, indulging in 'Sweet Paan' (Betel Leaf) was a luxury, and the highlight of that experience was the 'Gulkand' (made from rose petals and rock sugar) inside it. The menthol sensation combined with the rose flavor was sublime during my early teenage years.

Ora captures this essence perfectly, with its initial scent featuring rose and pink pepper in harmonious balance. The fragrance is soft, slightly sticky sweet and spicy, yet radiant. As it open up with time, the scent reveals Oud's woody characteristics that are subtly animalic (without being offensive) and earthy, complementing the opening notes seamlessly. The addition of pine is a masterstroke, setting Ora apart from other Rose/Oud combinations on the market. The green freshness, with a hint of resin, blends beautifully with the Rose/Oud interplay, elevating the fragrance smell to a higher level.

If you're a fan of sweet, spicy florals with a touch of outdoorsy energy through pine, I highly recommend checking out Ora. Its performance is impressive, lasting 7-8 hours on the skin with ease. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

From Roar to Whisper: The Rose’s Journey

At the opening, what stands out the most to me is the funky, animalic type of oud combined with a creamier, almost sweetened oud, a fresh rose leaning green, and a rather sharp and prominent pine note. As it dries down, that animalic oud starts to fade, leaving behind mainly the rose with the slightly sweet creamy oud and a pine note that also softens, giving the fragrance a more elegant nuance. What definitely stands out in the drydown is a soapy rose perfume vibe.
