Naroma is a Vietnamese perfume company that emerged from a team at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT; formerly known as Saigon) and specializes in the use of nanotechnology in fragrance development.
The company focuses on producing alcohol-reduced perfumes, in which the alcohol content is reduced to around 5 to 10 percent through the use of nanoemulsified formulations in order to reduce the drying effect on the skin.
Naroma combines scientific processes with creative aspects of the perfume craft and conducts detailed research in the field of nanoemulsion.
Naroma's fragrances are made from culturally and regionally specific, nature-based raw materials such as rice, tobacco leaves, regional herbs, and coffee grounds, which reflect Vietnam's identity, in order to offer resource-saving products in combination with modern technologies.
