Gentle, warm, & shy
A very soft, gentle and sweet ambery scent. Has definite green qualities, but is a little more on the warm side. Sticks rather close to the skin (as has been my experience with 06130's). Perfectly unisex, but I'd say it has a little more of a feminine vibe to it.

Scruffy-floral Mastic Shrub
For many scents here on Parfumo, I find it unnecessary to write a comment myself - I agree with the presentation and assessment of the commenter, recognize the essential characteristics, all good.

This is not the case with "Lentisque"; I perceive this scent quite differently. The name refers, as Louce rightly points out, to Pistacia lentiscus, the mastic shrub, whose resin leads the top note here. "Lentisque" starts for me very harsh, almost a bit bitter, with deep floral notes; I mean, the jasmine has definitely seen its best days and hangs heavily and darkly like in a vanitas still life. Green, yes, but it’s the dark, harsh, very chypre-like green of leaves falling from trees in the autumn wind, which has nothing bright about it but is deep and almost earthy-farny. At the outset, I even perceive slightly peppery notes; the dry, ambered, slightly nutty tone of ambrette seeds (seeds of the musk mallow, also called Abelmoschus or musk seeds, used as a plant-based substitute for musk components) contributes its part. A round, juicy, broad melon note (overripe honey, not water-) beautifully rounds this off balsamically.

In the heart, this scent continues into the deep-dense floral. Jasmine remains, a full, not cloyingly broad but very natural, almost "botanical" rose joins in, as well as the deep, dense, dark orris root that I love so much. All of this is so tightly woven here and embedded in the bitter-dark green chypre compound, with the amber note shifting, that I took quite some time to discern the individual hues (of which I feel there are even more inside that I cannot clearly name) and do not always perceive them the same way. To the base, there is also a dry-woody green vetiver note, a wonderful and absolutely consistent green-brown-woody finish.

I truly perceive high quality and high art here, a complex, unusual, serious, not intrusive, somehow autumn-dry scent that at first barely revealed itself to me and only unfolded after several weeks and wearing experiences, continuing to delight me on this journey of discovery. One enjoys having it around without often perceiving it directly; then the aura suddenly wafts gently back, something I really like. Thanks to the dear and so generous Lena, I can now hold a bottle in my hands that allows me this and brings me great joy as well as very interesting engagement and insight.

I clearly see this harsh, masculine, very "old-school" scent as being for gentlemen (as the perfumer himself also is). The longevity is impeccable at 10 hours, and in terms of sillage, it holds back pleasantly. It’s always exciting how different perceptions can be here again :-)

Pain-Free Knockout
I suddenly crave a scoop of creamy, green Mövenpick pistachio ice cream!
I'm sure there's some left in the Bo-freezer, all the way down on the left.
So, where is it?
Any drug-sniffing dog specially trained for these illegal nut fruits would miserably fail here after what feels like 10 minutes and would have to continue its existence pitifully as a guide dog or a hot dog.
The fine pistachio is unfortunately far too shy and hides in the deepest depths of the frozen freezer; right behind the melon sorbet and the amber cream.

Conclusion: No ice cream, no hands, no candies, no trophies :(
But many %e for a fleeting, delicious-nutty appetizer!
Sometimes less is indeed more.

Modern Classic - in the Scent Trail of Pistachio
The area code of Schwabenheim or the postal code of Halle an der Saale cannot be meaningfully interpreted when I ask myself why the label is called 06130. It is probably the postal code of Grasse that serves as the name here. This certainly invokes a rich historical context: the scents of Parfums 06130 want to be experienced against the backdrop of great perfume tradition and refer to non-synthetic creation. Let's see if Lentisque meets the expectations:
My intense passion for pistachio fragrances brought Lentisque to my skin, as Pistacia lentiscus is the pistachio shrub. It’s not about the pistachio fruit, but the plant itself, so I expected something somehow pistachio-green. The leaves of this shrub were or are used for tanning and medicinally for diarrhea, and they are also popular for Mediterranean table decorations, says the internet.*g*

I believe I recognize this scent note (after a - fortunately short - extremely green opening phase), even without being able to sniff a natural comparison value, as it clearly smells pistachio-like. And very, very beautifully. A very bright, cheerful, airy hint of pistachio without any direct nuttiness and without any weight. It is accompanied by an initially somewhat demanding but appealing sweet-fresh accord: ambrette seeds bring a lightness without any heaviness or darkness, adding some substance to an almost strikingly sunny melon fruit and helping to spread a note that makes one stop early in the scent development: jasmine powers here heavily and surprises with enormous floral freshness and sweet, radiant energy.
This jasmine reactor accompanies the pistachio leaf note into the deeper heart of the fragrance and joins there with the classic heart flowers rose and iris to create a textbook floral accord, which is the canvas on which the pistachio shrub scent now fully unfolds: Rather egg yolk yellow with bright orange and white-silver speckles than green, a rich, full, but never heavy or even overweight scent spreads out. A lively, optimistic leap between leaf, flower, and nut fruit.
Amber and musk provide a textbook-like base for the descent of this dynamic main note, soft and warm, enhancing the sweetness, reconciling and connecting with the supporting skin. Vetiver adds a few invigorating light herbal-yellow-green impulses to prevent any settled boredom.

A beautiful, cheerful, and lively scent with tension and energy before a value-conservative, traditional scent dramaturgy. Unfortunately, this mobility wears off quite quickly: after just 2 hours, the wonderful Lentisque has almost disappeared without a trace on me. Pressing my nose firmly against the skin and inhaling deeply brings a pleasant memory, but even that is faint. Generous re-spraying helps, of course, but the fact that this test alone required 2 sample vials (!) unfortunately disqualifies a high-priced fragrance for my wish list.
I am waiting for a lottery win, a generous lover, or an inheritance.

After about 10 minutes, quite nice. At first, in my opinion, very aggressive, a bit like smelling ivy (bad). Otherwise, TOP!

Contrasting notes (resin, floral, vetiver) are integrated into a warm framework, creating a higher, harmonious whole.
