Vintage find in Grandpa's box
Cool ice kick, aromatic-green
Slightly woody
After cooling, a gentle warming like a seat heater

Such a shame that it's no longer available. I thought it was so cooooool even as a kid!… ;)

I just can't get into Mäurer & Wirtz fragrances. I've tried. No luck.

I can picture that right away, but I've never tested it.

Oh, I remember that one well too - but I never really thought of it as a perfume...
But it didn't come out in 2008, did it? It was around looooooong before that, right? The 80s or at least the early 90s?

@JonasP1 Thanks! I mean the one that looked exactly like that "flacon" (if you can call it that). It didn't have a spray nozzle but something like a plastic sieve on top. It was really great for cooling things down, like insect bites; at least that's what I imagined back then. But back then, "Eau de Cologne" was also a cure-all (similar to Klosterfrau) and not just a fragrance... :-)

@KJV There was a fragrance from 4711 that was simply called "Ice." It was released in the 70s.

How lovely, I unfortunately never got to know my two grandfathers because of the turmoil of the war...

Yes, I got it as a kid in the 70s in the car from my parents to cool down! 😅🥶

Brilliantly described! 😂😂😂😂
I actually stored it in the freezer once during summer.
Cold shock! 🥶

I should give it a try. I'm a bit skeptical, though.
