more like ginseng tea

This is hard to find in the US, but I finally managed to score a bottle on eBay. I'm always looking for a great orange scent. Unfortunately, this isn't it. To me it smells as strongly of ginseng tea as it does of orange. That's not a bad smell, but not what I was seeking. Even colognes usually last fairly long on me, but this one is completely gone in less than an hour. I won't be replacing the bottle. (080810)

constant companion

My mom and I sometimes disagree about fragrances, but we both love Orange Tonic equally and wouldn’t want to miss it.
When traveling, we both have it in our toiletry bags, and even today, we were wearing it in unison without planning.

Today, in the heat, it fits particularly well, as it is refreshing and cool - but it’s also a year-round scent.
You can’t limit it to summer.

Orange Tonic is by no means arbitrary; no, it makes its special statement and has recognizability.

Its herbaceous fresh opening of bergamot, mandarin, and ginger is very appealing and not everyday.
The rose makes it soft and cuddly, even elegant.
Honeysuckle and jasmine are bright and uplifting.
The honey note seductively caresses the nose, and the cedar wafts over it with a smoky touch.
A fragrance for which I have received compliments both during the day and in the evening.

And although my mom and I were wearing it in unison today, it wasn’t too much of a good thing, as Orange Tonic remains transparent without becoming "thin".

It will remain our constant companion, even though it is now hard to come by - because this loyalty is well-deserved.
