Excellent Rose Oud Perfume but extremely overpriced outside the UK
With all the glowing reviews, I expected something outstanding, but this fell flat for me. The rose feels dry, almost vintage, and leans green. The ambergris and oud are there, adding a slight mineral salty and animalic touch, with a faint resemblance to ATH Oud.
Honestly, it feels more like hype than substance. The limited production and shipping just seem to create artificial demand, and the price for 50 ml is well above even Roja fragrances, etc. For that cost, I was hoping for something much more special.
Longetivity is average, strong first 2h projection and became skin scent after 6h. I think Hard Candy Elixir last a little bit longer on me.
Onyx extreme cost AUD 425 before 10% GST and forward2me cost. So $500 + for 50ml is extremely expensive for us down under.
So maybe a good pick up if for people living in UK & Europe. Not for the rest of the world.
