Peculiar, subtle presence with light and shadow
This is another one of those fragrances that are beautiful in their own way, but not easy to describe. It is best compared to a landscape that is flooded with sunlight at midday, but the air is quite cool.
One of those clear days when everything casts quite strong shadows. Already a bit weird because of the advanced year, at about this time of year.
Everything around is still lush and green, but the approaching fall cannot be denied. The beginnings of leaves changing color. Still subtle, only noticeable on closer inspection. So far, there is only a certain undertone that characterizes the landscape, light and air. The increasingly spicy fragrances evoked by delicate morning mists that linger vaguely throughout the day.
This dampness, together with the herbal, grass and forest aromas, creates a slight sense of melancholy. When the shadows become longer and longer as evening approaches earlier and earlier, you can already sense the coming coolness, even though it is still warm.
And the "Labo" is not comparable to any of the fragrances I know. If it didn't have a name yet, I would call it "Early Autumn". Or "Early autumn" :-))
