Citrus to Cedar in 60 seconds
This starts out bright and smart like a Limonata. A delicate veil of fresh spritely citrus fizzes and jumps out of the glass of bubbles tickling the nose. Within about 20-30, the experience is over. A faint cedar wood essence is all that remains. Consider this a diluted eau de toilette or a fragranced water perfect for storing in the fridge in the summer and spraying on to cool the heat, not something anyone else would possibly ever know you were wearing. It reminds me slightly of Eau Svelte by Dior, but I must add Eau Svelte would be considered a monster truck sillage and longevity compared to the wispy swish of Verveine Agrume. Indeed, this whole line has been shockingly lightweight and short-lived, this is coming from a nose that can't be in the same airplane cabin as someone wearing more than a single spritz of Amarige without getting a vicious migraine. The cedar base is just as subdued. Not unpleasant, but I would readily apply a fragrance right over the test spot of this without giving a second thought about conflicting scents, because this is like a dab of lemongrass tea over a cedar wood soapbar on the skin.
