I find the scent to be unique in that it perfectly balances heavy fragrance molecules like Oud with volatile, lighter fragrance molecules that are more citrusy and aquatic.
The unfolding of the scent is mega beautiful, first fresh and aquatic with a hint of salt and lemon that slowly reveals its warmth while still retaining its citrus notes.

The warm Oud can still be smelled a good 4-6 hours later; I think it is the perfect fragrance to wear from Easter to October, both daily and for special occasions. I especially like to wear it on vacation as it fits perfectly in settings like a warm beach holiday and offers an unbeatable price-performance ratio while being relatively unknown.

It is also a subtle compliment-getter, reminiscent of Aqua di Gio but more maritime, with the scent unfolding from cool aquatic and citrus notes to warm and gentle Oud with a hint of salt.

I actually find Oud 3007 quite good. It starts fresh and spicy. The cooling effect that the fragrance radiates is definitely very pleasant in the summer. However, later on, I am a bit bothered by it. It smells almost a bit musty on my skin. I don't pick up much oud either. Not my taste, but still a solid, fresh scent.

I bought Acqua Alpes 3007 2 years ago and I still think it's great! It's nothing "unique," but I really like the citrusy and cool notes combined with lily of the valley. I can definitely recommend it, especially for "fragrance beginners," given the price! I like to wear the scent when you don't want to stand out too much, as the sillage and longevity are not the best, but for the price, it's definitely acceptable.
