Naxos Xerjoff 2015

Dieser Duft ist absolut göttlich und die Beschreibung wird ihm nicht gerecht. Der Auftakt ist fruchtig und blumig, gemischt mit Gewürzen. Es hat auch Holz mit einem Hauch von Rhum.

Zu Beginn sind die Gewürze stärker, aber nach ein paar Minuten beruhigen sie sich und der Duft wird ausgewogener, wodurch er etwas blumiger wird, was ich mag.

Nach einer Weile bleiben Hölzer, Rhum und Orangenblüten übrig, mit den Gewürzen im Hintergrund. Auf jeden Fall einen Versuch wert.

Stark, lang anhaltend und sehr gute Projektion.

Oh, mein Gott, ist das schön! Wunderschöner Lavendel mit Karamell und einer Spur von Zitrusfrüchten und Honig. Schwanzvoll und anhaltend. Ich stimme nicht zu, dass es maskulin ist, eher wie ein Unisex-Flakon zu be!!!!
Ps Vial hat stattgefunden, worüber ich wahnsinnig froh bin! Wie er spielt... in der Hitze ist er kühler Lavendel und Zitrus, in der Kühle weißer Honig und süßer, weicher Lavendel! Ich habe es nicht sofort geliebt. Ich dachte nicht einmal, dass es mein Ding wäre.

This easily skyrocketed to one of my top favorite fragrances of all time. It opens up with a fresh burst of sweet honeyed lavender and citrus, with the smallest hint of fennel or anise… or some other licorice adjacent scent. It’s not heavy or overpowering though, it stays in the background just quietly whispering intrigue. then the citrus calms down a bit to reveal the tobacco which is smooth and sweet, almost like a cherry vanilla tobacco… pipe or cigar? I’m not very familiar with tobacco scents, but it’s definitely not a smoky tobacco. It’s so very smooth, with a light coating of honey, but not too much. This is not an overly sweet or syrupy honey. It’s soft, and warm. The lavender stays present throughout the entire wear time of the fragrance, while the citrus and the licorice-esque notes fade away in the dry down. To my nose, this is right down the middle unisex, I think both men and women can easily wear this without thinking they are staying too far from other scents they like to wear. The general vibe I get as a woman wearing this, is confident, bold, stylish, and a little bit edgy. This projects a bit more than most of my other fragrances, but it’s not overpowering. I think most women would wear this more as a nighttime out on the town fragrance, but I will wear this any time and any season.

I also have to say that the presentation of this brand is seriously top notch. I am actually blown away by the experience of opening my package.

This is one of those where I have a hard time imagining someone not liking it. I know they must be out there, but my brain can’t really accept it. I definitely give this a 10/10 in every category. Absolutely addictive.

Naxos was the first Xerjoff fragrance I ever bought, and looking back, I can understand why it was such an easy entry into the house.

This is one of those fragrances with incredibly broad appeal. Men, women, younger people, older people - it simply seems to work on almost everyone.

And it definitely works on dates.

Almost every time I wore Naxos on a date, I received a compliment on how I smelled. There’s something warm, attractive and immediately likeable about it that makes it very difficult to go wrong.

For the quality Xerjoff offers, I also think the price is quite reasonable.

Performance, however, was never exceptional on my skin. The sillage was good, but the longevity was more moderate than I expected considering its reputation.

Eventually, I sold my bottle.

Not because I stopped liking Naxos. I still think it’s an excellent fragrance and one of the easiest Xerjoff creations to recommend.

The problem was that I simply stopped reaching for it.

As my collection grew, I found myself choosing other fragrances whenever I was getting ready for a date or an evening out. Naxos had also become so popular and recognizable that, for my personal taste, it began to lose some of the uniqueness I look for in a fragrance.

And that’s the strange thing about Naxos.

It’s easy to understand why so many people own it.

That eventually became part of the reason I no longer needed to.

Naxos is the one of those scents which never got my attention because of the hype around it. It's so boring to see people praising the scent and sometimes it's "the most sexy", sometimes "the most cozy", sometimes "the most unique" and whatever adjectives are used to describe it. The funniest and the most stupid is "the panty dropper", if I would smell this on man I would think that it's some popular designer and my pants would never drop.

I got a sample and tried Naxos two years ago for the first time. I was so underwhelmed and I put the sample in the box with all others which didn't convince me. Now I was so curious to see what I'm thinking about it nowadays.

The first of all Naxos is very versatile, crowd pleasing scent. I think there is not so much people who would be bothered by this perfume. The balance between Honey, Cinnamon, Tobacco, Tonka and Vanilla is absolutely great and Honey which is not so easy to make in the nice way is pleasant. It's not the most realistic one honey but it's not bad either. It's easy, not sticky sweet honey smelled straight away from the jar but it has honey like sweetness though. It brings the bright and golden touch to the scent and it works so well here with utterly neutral Tobacco note. It's not like a strong smoke and definitely not a dirty one. Each note is brought out moderately and therefore pleases as many people as possible and I'm not at all surprised that this fragrance is popular among niche beginners. But my opinion is that it is just average in every way. There is nothing which makes it stand out nowadays but I can see why it was so special when it was released.

Naxos is sweet, it's spicy and smoky. The smoke disappears quite quickly and the whole well blended concoction is melting on the skin. I don't think it's gourmand, it's not something edible even it has Honey and Vanilla in it. I don't think it's creamy either. It seems to appeal to users of all ages and it seems to be genderless. You can wear it whenever you want and where ever you want. It's a safe blind buy but I would be disappointed because it's nothing special. I definitely don't want that my husband would smell like this even if it's not a bad scent.
