Something different for summer

What do you do in summer when you have a hobby for perfume?
Of course: You bring out your summer scents. But no matter how many fragrances you already own, it never seems to be enough (doesn't that sound familiar? :D). Even worse, you start searching for new scents that you want to get for summer.

Some people grab several fragrances right away, while others (like me) can’t decide forever and only discover something new that they like once summer is over. You’re naturally happy when the madness from Parfumo spills into the most remote corners of Germany (preferably Hesse :DD) and you meet more and more people who can provide you with samples, allowing you to test fragrances that you’ve never heard of or wouldn’t have gotten a sample of in a more complicated way.

Like here, with Acqua di Biella, of which I had never heard until I received a sample from a lovely perfumer (thank you once again so much :)

**The scent:**
In the top note, there’s ivy… I have no idea what ivy smells like. I’ve never thought about it and have never really perceived it anywhere. Is it maybe green? I should let a house I own fall into disrepair so that ivy can spread over the walls :D
Well, anyway, you can definitely smell resinous notes that smell wonderful, as well as fennel, which isn’t bad, but I’m personally not a big fan (I really don’t like fennel tea!). Galbanum is also a scent note that I’m never quite sure about. According to descriptions, it should smell spicy and peppery, but also balsamic. Yes, spicy-dry and peppery at least seems to fit (unless this note is “caused” by white pepper).
The resinous aspect is, in my opinion, clearly recognizable as mastic resin and smells quite intense.
In the end, in the base, the scent continues to smell of resinous notes, is green-spicy (slightly peppery, but in a less piercing way), and slightly sweet, which comes from the musk, but that’s really only present in very small amounts.

**The sillage and longevity:**
The scent has an okay sillage. It will be (not for very long) detectable near others, but it could have been a bit stronger.
The longevity is about eight hours, but after half that time, the scent is already noticeably weaker.

**The bottle:**
The bottle is rectangular, tall, and thick glass with a thick base. On the front, there’s a blue label with the name and brand as well as the logo. The cap is black and cylindrical. All in all, it’s nicely done. If the bottle were cylindrical, it would somewhat resemble the Heeley bottles.

Hmm, Ca Luna is quite an unusual scent that you don’t smell every day. It has a slightly classic approach (like scents with moss) and mainly smells green, spicy, and resinous. It appears a little dry, yet I find that it fits really well into summer (I let it work under the sun at over 25 degrees, and it’s lovely!).

Yes, I’m glad that the madness mentioned in the introduction is winning out :D
Otherwise, I would have certainly missed this beautiful scent, which smells a bit different from citrus fragrances or such. If you come across the scent in a niche perfumery, I would definitely recommend giving it a test. The scent is already unisex, but leans slightly towards the masculine side.

Very well described!
I found the scent to be cozy and spicy.
I had to sniff it again, and it actually smells herbaceous and green, and the slightly masculine direction fits too.
Efeu cup for you :)

In my opinion, ivy smells disgusting. And be careful not to let this or that ivy grow on house walls: it breaks through every wall and grows into the spaces under gutters, eaves, and in mortar cracks; ivy suffocates every tree. It can only smell sticky and overly green in perfumes, right?
