And sometimes life smiles

I stumbled upon this fragrance quite unexpectedly; a dear perfumer included it as a little extra in the scent mail package, along with other truly wonderful samples. This really makes me very happy! So much that I hadn’t noticed until then finds its way onto my wish list. Even better is when the respective "donor" seems to know what I might like - and oh yes, I do like Kid Mohair!

In general, I find it difficult to find summer-appropriate fragrances. As a lover of the vanilla-sweet faction, the search for something fresh and zesty yet somehow sugary often proves challenging. My compromise often ends up being "light" gourmands with a citrus or floral touch, so I’m not particularly adventurous in this regard. However, Kid Mohair manages to awaken summer feelings in me without smelling like a citrus vanilla crescent.
The sweet-fruity mango, which actually reminds me more of a squeaky children's shampoo, provides a cheerful opening that instantly brings a smile to my face. This fruitiness, which weaves through the fragrance in golden threads, initially reminds me very strongly of Cinema by YSL, but is lightened up by a huge musk veil. Fluffy and bright, it gives the fragrance a carefree quality that uplifts the spirit and simply does not tolerate bad moods. The osmanthus merges in a radiant symbiosis with the sweet mango, without the fragrance ever becoming too light, trivial, or childish. Much more, the musk, accompanied by a very subtle patchouli, provides a certain depth that tingles in the nose and grounds the fragrance a bit without wanting to keep it down.
And that is exactly the essence of Kid Mohair (at least for me):
A carefree, fruity-sweet lightness, dancing through summer rain as if freshly showered, enjoying life, without forgetting that summer also brings along a winter.

Aus Deiner Beschreibung lacht mir die strahlende Lebensfreude entgegen - toll beschrieben! Es freut mich sehr, daß Dir neben By Night White auch Kid Mohair gefällt, liebe Duftschwester.
