Static Mojito

When I do this, others look at me strangely: I fish the mint leaves out of my Mojito with a straw, chew on them extensively, and then swallow them down. Why? Because I think it's awesome. That slightly bitter, beautifully herbaceous taste. A pilsner in the green edition.
I feel exactly the same way about Colonia Club. Fresh mint, a splash of lime, and very subtle lavender in the background. The lavender only comes through when you're indoors, when it’s a bit warmer, and even then only slightly after a while. It's been a long time since I smelled it, but I imagine there could also be some sweet briar hiding in there. If the pyramid didn’t dissuade me, I would almost suspect a very light touch of tea tree oil. I don’t pick up any mandarin or even the slightest hint of sweetness here; this thing is super fresh and ice-cold, like the green cousin of Cool Water.
I can't understand why others speak of insignificance here; this stuff refreshes me in such a natural way that all the aquatics with their feigned sea freshness can pack it up. Everything unfolds very statically; I can only detect a minimal change in scent with a change in ambient temperature (outside --> inside), but not over the passage of time. Is it boring because of that? On the contrary, when I want to smell fresh, I want to smell fresh. If I leave the house in a green shirt, it should still be green in 3 hours, not red. This colorless liquid doesn’t want to "tell a story," it doesn’t want to attract women; it simply serves the wearer with enduring freshness and excellent fragrance. And that’s just fine!

Many thanks to Riechtick for the decant - awesome stuff, will be purchased.
