Interesting Facts
Acqua di Parma is an Italian perfume manufacturer, which was founded in 1916 in Parma. Since 2001, Acqua di Parma has been headquartered in Milan and has been acquired by the French luxury goods group LVMH.
As the company's first fragrance, Colonia was created in 1916 in a small factory in the middle of Parma's old town. The lightness and freshness of the perfume were the recipe for success, as until then mainly heavy fragrances dominated the market. Over time, Acqua di Parma produced various other products - on the one hand, various new fragrance lines, such as the popular and fresh line "Blu Mediterraneo", on the other hand, high-quality leather goods, aromatherapy products and candles.
