Borgo Acqua di Portofino 2013 Eau de Toilette Intense

aparter scent
If I weren't reading this now after reapplying "Borgo"; I didn't expect such a detailed pyramid.
"Borgo" starts with a pleasantly fresh and sour, slightly sharp scent. Then there is an intermezzo with Ambroxan, so amber resin, and "Borgo" takes off into a delicately spicy floral second note that embraces the first one in a balanced and independent way. Thus, the scent remains for a longer time, almost until the end. Now that I know, "Borgo" actually smells of lime and sour cherry, bergamot is subdued. The fine floral scent lays over it. I don't know what it is with the glue seeds, how they smell, but I will note it for my ingredients list and find out.
Nothing else happens with the scent on my skin. I can only recognize patchouli and cedar during the second testing, right at the end and after I had reapplied at the very beginning. I don't miss them. I don't perceive vanilla at all.
"Borgo" is once again a scent that presents a beautiful jasmine note and is further proof that jasmine in perfumes doesn't necessarily have to smell bad.
"Borgo" is a light scent for bright days, for summer. I have never smelled such a cologne-like scent, fresh, finely floral, apart.

Borgo reminds me a lot of For Her, EdT, just "cherrier" and sweeter...

Sounds lovely. :-)

The keyword "Ambroxan" is worrying me now, especially after two Santi Burgas fragrances turned out to be both bombs and monkeys not too long ago - I guess I have a little trauma now...
