Tiaré is not Tiramisu!
* sigh *
Let me tell you something that might make you laugh… and at the same time highlights my stupidity in certain (plant-related) matters:
For a very long time, I constantly confused Tiaré with Tiramisu. When I read Tiaré in a fragrance pyramid here on Parfumo, Tiramisu immediately came to mind, leading me to think that the scent would have a sweet, dessert-like note. Which was, of course, wrong. Only upon reading it a second time did it click, and I realized that Tiaré is indeed NOT Tiramisu!
* sigh *
And now I’m describing a Tiaré scent, while I wonder how Tiaré actually looks and truly smells, even though my subconscious keeps thinking of something delicious!! Especially since gourmand notes are also listed in the pyramid below; I mean, how can I not think of something tasty?? And then Tiaré even sounds a bit like Tiramisu, don’t you think? No? … argh! Well, never mind! But I already said I’m a bit silly, right? :D
Well, go ahead and laugh at me, which I’m sure you’re doing anyway, right? You meanies! :DD
The coconut in the top note is, by the way, only faintly pronounced, but that’s okay. It smells nice from the background, even though you shouldn’t really notice it soon. Instead, you quickly pick up the vanilla, which smells wonderful together with the Tiaré. And by the way, there’s neroli, which, although not fresh, delivers a heavy orange scent that somewhat reminds me of orange soap, as I also perceive a clean, soapy note, and it’s not exactly weak.
This clean note even becomes stronger than the floral notes themselves at times, but that doesn’t bother me, as the fragrance smells excellent.
A little later, the orange blossoms smell somewhat in line with the floral-sweet notes, with the sweet scents slowly gaining the upper hand, as the vanilla in the base, as is often the case, lasts the longest.
The longevity is also very good, as the scent lasts longer than twelve hours.
In my opinion, Fleur de Tiaré has become quite a wonderful scent. It’s not highly complex, it also smells clean (which some may not like), but it wonderfully smells of floral and sweet notes, as well as fantastic orange blossoms in the middle. It’s not really heavy, but it’s not fresh either. In my opinion, it fits best into the autumn, where it could be worn both during the day and (or especially) in the evening for going out. In any case, it’s worth a “look”!
So, another floral scent has been described. What’s worse is not only that I’m still really bad with floral scents, but that many think I might have enormous knowledge by now (because I’ve tried endless fragrances and so on) and therefore sometimes wish I could recommend something “nice and floral”…
But… first: I’m not a walking encyclopedia or whatever you call it :D
Everything I really like in women’s fragrances, I’ve laid out here in my collection, but without taking a look at it, I wouldn’t know off the top of my head which of them were floral; I just know that they were great for me, and I haven’t even included all the floral scents that I find stuffy (but you all love) in the list :D
Second: Yes, I have really tested many fragrances, but do you really think I did that because I would actually like fragrances? NO! I was hoping to charm one of you hot perfume lovers, as there are likely more women in a perfume forum than guys! He he he… uh wait… I didn’t mean to say that out loud… he he he.
And yes, that was a joke! A JOKE!!! So stay where you are, you heartthrobs with pitchforks :DD
* sigh *

The Scent:
At first, I smell slightly powdery-sweet notes that indeed have a gourmand quality. These transition into a sweet-floral scent, and I suspect that this is how Tiaré might smell, as I can rule out everything else here. The fragrance is very pleasant and beautiful! The coconut in the top note is, by the way, only faintly pronounced, but that’s okay. It smells nice from the background, even though you shouldn’t really notice it soon. Instead, you quickly pick up the vanilla, which smells wonderful together with the Tiaré. The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is good, so you don’t have to get too close to smell the fragrance. The longevity is also very good, as the scent lasts longer than twelve hours.
The Bottle:
The bottle is thin and cylindrical, wrapped in a yellow label where you can see the name, etc. The cap is chrome-plated and also cylindrical. It’s nothing special, but it’s not particularly ugly either. In my opinion, Fleur de Tiaré has become quite a wonderful scent. It’s not highly complex, it also smells clean (which some may not like), but it wonderfully smells of floral and sweet notes, as well as fantastic orange blossoms in the middle.
