Hwyl Aēsop 2017

A strong, spicy start with detectable levels of iso-e-super that lasts for around 15 minutes, then the cypress comes in. At around the one hour mark, the scent becomes more smoky- and this is where Hwyl starts blooming. A calming, incense-like fragrance: like you had finished giving your prayers at a temple, put down your incense stick, and stepped out into the forest to catch your breath. It's cool out, but the warmth of the smoke lingers between the trees. Good longevity at around 6 hours, becomes a skin scent at around the 4 hour mark, and very good when you want to take a breath and relax. An all-year rounder.
