This takes me out in the hinoki forests of Japan, to an ancient spa. You hear the sound of running water, animals and birds in the trees and the soothing vibrations of traditional Japanese music. You breathe deeply, inhaling the almost medicinal cypress, fresh and powerful; hints of elemi pepper your sense of smell. Your nervous system starts to relax and you notice, faintly at first, hints of incense smoke - frankincense - rich and resinous with hints of lemon and pine. There's a grassiness to this, and you look down and realize you're standing on a mat of vetiver, with chaises of suede to your sides, the perfect way to relax after a long dip in the hot, mineralic waters.
