The perfect scent for a straight man in his late 30s (let me explain)
The moment I first smelled this perfume, I immediately imagined my dad, wearing fragrances like this ~10 to 15 years ago.
My mind instantly jumped to a man with their hair combed back, lots of hairgel and a black button-down shit. He loves fast cars and puts on their sunglasses the moment the sun comes out just a tiny bit.
Does this smell like a "Boss"? No, it smells like a Hugo Boss wearing man. It smells like someone who WANTS to be powerful, but really isn't.
This is a scent profile that every man is familiar with, it's nothing new or exclusive. This will not make you smell unique in any way, if that's what matters to you.
BUT: It's a great perfume! It lasts very long, it projects softly around you & it doesn't smell synthetic. The fruits smell very genuine, as if someone has just cut up bergamot and pineapple and you get that fresh first bite.
As you get closer with your nose, it turns mossy and "strong feeling". Over time, the fruitiness passes (it takes hours) and you're left with a woody and mossy profile.
This is a well crafted perfume, but I cannot lose this deep association that I have with this profile and the men who're wearing it.
