Help, I'm being haunted...
...and by this scent that I gifted to my boyfriend a few months ago through a blind purchase. The fragrance notes match his taste perfectly, and I thought for €50, you can't go wrong.
I thought so too after the first test - fresh and citrusy, not bad but with a metallic, slightly piercing note. My boyfriend also liked the scent right away, and he has been wearing it regularly since then.
However, after a short time, I had to change my opinion because the scent haunted me. It smells like it everywhere in the apartment - just two sprays and the metallic note now bothers me extremely. I can still smell it on my clothes for days - even from the laundry basket. It even got to the point where I came home from work at 3:30 PM after my boyfriend had applied two sprays at 7 AM, and the smell hit me as soon as I entered the bathroom. How strong can a longevity be? I don't know if I should give it 10 or 0 stars, because it's so good that it’s almost bad.
After reading the other reviews here, I now believe that the scent needs to mature; apparently, the metallic note has disappeared for some other users after a few months. I've now put the (by the way, very stylish and high-quality) bottle into the closet for a winter nap and hope that we will understand each other better next spring.
