Fresh aroma but with the depth of a chypre.

The first time I smelled Agua de Naranjos was on a study trip to the city of Seville (Spain) in the year 2000. When leaving a museum they gave us strips of paper impregnated with the aroma. The aroma remained in my olfactory memory and I have remembered it for all these years.
Countless times I have seen it in perfume shops, but I never took the step of buying it, until today...
The output is fresh and green, but with a very aromatic background and full of nuances. Mint and fig leaves make it feel green, fresh and crystal clear. The olive leaf and the rosewood provide a woody nuance, which together with a subtle powdery contribution from the basil, is maintained until the end of the perfume's life. The citrus fruits provide a fair acidity that rounds off the aromatic set.
After the freshness that characterizes the exit, the heart feels chypre, yes, surprising, but that's the way it is, a soft chypre, in which a rather remarkable carnation is felt, as well as green tones of laurel and coriander. The other floral notes are very infused, along with a very noticeable musk.
Of the base notes, it should be noted that the oak moss rounds off all the notes very well, highlighting that subtle depth of the forest.
Although the beginning of the fragrance is very rich and fresh, I recommend trying it before buying it, because that transformation to a light chypre may surprise you.
It has a more than acceptable performance to be an EDT.
Personally, I find him personable and easy to get along with.
