The fragrance starts off rather cool with a distinctly maritime touch. I don't recognize the melon, but more experienced noses may smell it. Then the fragrance becomes warmer and creamy. I am reminded of a full bath with fragrant foam. This association remains as the fragrance gradually deepens. Only after a good two hours do I notice a gentle amber note. The base is beautiful! A clearly recognizable, albeit very quiet amber, but one that definitely has staying power and lasts an astonishing seven to eight hours on me.

All in all, a nice fragrance that makes you smell very well-groomed, but doesn't knock my socks off.
