Office-friendly, soft-textured saffron-cashmeran oriental

After the previous Heiko comment engaged in a lot of boring bashing but revealed little about the fragrance itself, I will once again dedicate myself to the "core business".

It fits this brand, which really hasn’t been able to set any trends in the perfume sector for quite some time, that Aigner wants to hop on the "oud" train with a good half-decade delay, even though it has long since left the station.

What you smell is undoubtedly absolutely nothing new, but it is, per se, crafted reasonably well.

The name "Oud" is unfortunately chosen, as it doesn’t really become oud-like in this scent, which is predestined for the office in autumn and winter.

Essentially, "No.1 - Oud" relies on a pleasantly woven, smooth base structure made of the synthetic material cashmeran, which is notably highlighted at the beginning by saffron, further garnished with a hint of cinnamon and touches of oud.

The aforementioned cashmeran, which smells of woods, vanilla, and creamy balsam, provides accessible oriental aspects, which are largely supported and enhanced by the quite lasting saffron.

Longevity and sillage are rather moderate; here the difference to significantly higher-priced orientals becomes apparent, which can sometimes cling to the skin all day.

Whether one needs to pull out the socially critical club with this fragrance, which stylistically is not unlike some (inappropriately expensive) 200 euro waters, I question.
I encounter "boring" people much more often, who standardly smell like "Cool Water", "Boss Bottled", or "Le Mâle". Against that, I can’t compete....

In this price range, the scent is quite good... if you expect more, you just have to invest more! Pokälsche!

Since I'm generally not a fan of oud, it can't convince me, even though it's well-made. Le Male is undeniably a terrible, syrupy mess, and I agree with you about Boss Bottled (even though I had it) being neutral and so on. But Cool Water definitely deserves a special mention here. Despite its mainstream status, I think it's absolutely untouchable.

You said it... The scent has been my favorite since it was released. Do they think I'm Heiko?)))
