From the spice basket
This fragrance was a blind buy to burn a coupon. The notes have appealed to me, and he was cheap.
To say the least: I was not disappointed. For just under €40, I wasn't expecting a stunning oud scent (although there is that too, e.g. Shaghaf Oud). And it isn't. Oud is not really perceptible here. But that doesn't matter either. For this you get a beautiful spice basket.
It starts cinnamon-y sweet. After a short time, nutmeg and saffron are added. Under it mixes beautifully discreet a rose. It stays that way for a few hours. Then it becomes a little leathery-harder, before it fades. The oud is still a long time coming. The leather I would have wished a little stronger.
The durability I find good. The sillage could be a little stronger. All in all, you get here but a nice fragrance beyond the "citrus race track", which you can wear prima. A little reminds me of "Shaghaf Oud Aswad", but entirely without animalism. Successful!
